would you guys have any interest?

Dragic and Doncic play together in overseas tournaments. They are boys and they have insane chemistry already.

A big 3 of

- Dragic
- Doncic
- Porzingis

Dragic is an excellent facilitator and a 16 ppg scorer.

I think the Mavs would like Dragic on the team. But given his age, I doubt they would give much in return.

This. Would love to have him but I don't see how we could meet what the Heat would want in return.

The Heat would want a boat load of assets in return. I think Goran has a team option or a player option which makes him a free agent if that is declined. If you really want him just wait until the summer.

I think the type of trade that the Mavs would need is Porzingis for Siakam. Pascal has proven he can be the #2 on a title caliber team, think he's miscast as a #1. Plus he can finally be the guy we need to guard bigger wings

Luka
J-Rich
THJ
Siakam
Maxi

That's a pretty good starting 5 with potential on both sides.

Nah. I personally dont see Cuban parting ways with KP. He has proclaimed that both in live TV and radio. Cuban is he type who will rather ride this boat to the ground rather than be proven wrong.

I agree regarding Siakam. He will never be a 1A superstar as seen last year without Kawhi. In Dallas he can be a very good C with Luka and KP being A and B respectively. I just hope there will be a desire to trade him from Masai when they do a complete rebuild. I'd offer 3 1st rounders for Siakam if needed.

This is interesting. Ball has good size at 6'7 and plays good defense. Shooting skill is probably getting there still. Dallas can either trade for him now or wait til free agency and bid for his RFA status.

His contract directly matches with Dwight Powell. It can be a straight swap then Dallas adds picks and maybe Bey or Hinton. If that is the scenario I can see Ball starting at SG or SF with Richardson. Then THJ coming off the bench with DFS. It could work, I guess.

If this goes through then pretty sure we wont chase a wing in free agency anymore. Maybe we bid for Jarrett Allen then. His defense intrigues me.

If this is 1 : 1 trade for Brunson, sure. But otherwise it makes no sense. Mavs need Drummond and not Lonzo.

This is probably about a 1 or 2 out of 10 in terms of happening right now. Mavs don't really allow what they are planning to get out to the media. Really don't consider this a reliable source, but never know.

Knocks have more assets available and play in a different conference than the other 2, so I think that’s likely the preferred destination if New Orleans does trade him. I still hold on to some Lonzo stock though, so I wouldn’t mind Dallas rolling the dice to see if he can turn it around

Exactly why we need to send Powell + picks out. Essentially we turned Powell into an expiring contract which clears Dallas' books. With Powell, THJ, Richardson, and Johnson all cleared, that may be enough to have 2 max contract slots.

Go big or go home. Two 1st rounders and DFS + Green along with salary match for LaVine or KAT.

I can’t see Ball working here. We have enough players already that can’t shoot and stink at the free throw line.

What do texans think of Johnson and Brunson for Ricky Rubio?
He can help running the 2nd unit and take pressure off Luka on B2B games.

Defense wins draft lotteries!
Fortune favours the bold, so it ducked Nico Harrison.

Rubio's struggles this year may be due to a terrible Minny roster. I'm willing to take a chance on him. However, I'm not moving Brunson if Rubio is the main piece coming back. Package Jalen along with Green and some other small assets for a starting caliber player (Aaron Gordon???). Then I would love to see Dallas pick up Rubio for Johnson + 2nd or on the buyout market later in the year.

Absolutely. Dallas needs shooters. They are likely to operate over the cap next year anyway.

Sign me up. Sadly, I don't think Dallas can trade a pick until 2027 due to protections on the 2023 pick they owe to NY that could extend until 2025. And even then, a 2025-27 1st from Dallas is probably worth less than from any other team since they have the best young player in the game.
