People on here were a liiitttttttlllleeeeee to eager to buy "Jamal Murray is definitely an All-NBA-level player" stuff after he shot crazy, unsustainable shots last year, aha. He's good but CJ McCollum has been way better, and he is better.

I expect more of the same this year until this pandemic ends.

He's a streaky player and had 3 straight awesome games. He also had 12 and 14 point games in that series.

the Heat were very far from being a one man team, quite the opposite

It's the second biggest, after the Lakers title.

Mike James scored more points in his one season as a Raptor than Kawhi did.

beating kawhi isn't a fluke. jamaal is better than mitchell and tatum.
jamaal has 8 39+ point games. mitchell has 8 as well.

Jamal is injured, he has problems with his shooting elbow, so take from it what you want, but so many hot takes after few games playing injured...

Jokic was easily the best player in the series

And Tatum is wayyy better than Murray. Offensively hes better. Better playmaker now, his scoring/efficiency is just as good if not better and hes the main focus of the defense and doesnt have a Goat passer like Jokic for him. Defensively its a massive gap in Jaysons favor. An all defense level wing VS a guard that cant defend well

My first thought is Linsanity, MCW rookie game triple double. I dont like claiming something is biggest in history, cause I wasnt following the league from its beginning, those are just biggest flukes I can remember in recent history.

It was a fluke for sure until he proves otherwise. People got caught up in the moment and claimed that his contract wasn't bad but the dude has literally not made any progress in the regular season in 3 seasons. Of course the postseason is more important, but he needs to show that outside of the bubble and at some point you have to play like a star in the regular season as well. He can't even crack 20ppg

Several teams winning all of their “road” playoff games. (Ex: Heat going up 2-0 in every series as the lower seed)

Several players shooting lights out like Jae Crowder.

the reason everyone was fine with murray's slow progress was because his team was doing very well. his intangibles don't show up on the scoresheet. he's a big time player and will prove it again this playoffs.

I'll be honest i dont like his game, his body language says he thinks he is in the Steph / Dame tier, but his game says he isnt. Often times i think he is chucking and bricking early in the shot clock. Those guys can get hot at times. However, i'll ask back: Is this title the most unneccessarily overdramatic exaggeration in the history of RealGM or actually of Message boards in the internet?

If the guy sucked in the playoffs most casuals here would have called him a choker.

So the guy balls when the pressure is on. Does he get called clutch? Nope...he’s a fluke.

Some people just gotta set everything on fire.

Let us know how you became such an expert and the courses you took to judge people on body language, because I gotta laugh when anyone judges a player based on their “body language”.

I have actually taken college level courses in non-verbal communication (which includes body language). You can learn a lot from body language - but you need to know a whole lot more about the person than just watching them play a sport. Everyone is different and while the way the play a sport can indicate certain aspects of their personality, it falls far short of this conclusion.

Anyone remember a guy nicknamed "Sleepy"? His demeanor earned him that nickname long before the NBA, but he played a solid game. His body language was just different.
