Havent seen the numbers but looks like he’s got a much improved mid range game. He’s scoring with ease now.

Better PnR defense also and looks to be in much better shape.

I hope he can back that up! Otherwise it's back to the drawing board and no more boards off the back board! brb!

"Joel Embiid (back tightness) is probable for Thursday's game vs. Orlando."

Yahoo sports listed Joel as probable because of his back again. So another loss?

This is why I think we need Harden. Jo is going to miss 10 to 15 games and that’s cool but we need a guy like Harden that can go for 40 plus in that situation.

Ended with 38 points, but only started scoring in the 2nd quarter

Great game by JoJo

So he practiced those new moves. I can still remember how brett said how Biid is such a savant on learning new moves

Generational talent. To be that big and have that soft a touch and pretty flick on his jumper is rare. He makes so many other great bigs around the league look so ordinary.

Pretty nervous about this knee injury- we clearly can’t win a thing without him.

? Why, they said it's precautionary. I'm thinking he's fine. He carried the load this week, and they're just getting him some rest.

It’s just so early in the season. I understand planned load mgmt games, but if this was planned, i’m sure they would have had him play one game of this back-to-back. If he’s missing unanticipated games now, what condition will he be in come playoffs?

Wow you mean three games in one week is to much to ask of a player making 30 million a year.

Some of you aren't happy with anything. I get that you don't want lose games, and that Embiid playing is better than not. I have him on my fantasy team, and trust me I'd want him playing. There is literally no reason for him to be playing though. Even the Lakers sit players, and they won the chip. If we can't beat the Grizzlies and OKC without Embiid then we're not a championship team. I think this also allow Morey to evaluate the players and get prepared for a potential other trade. Embiid is in good condition, and they're being cautious. Would you rather then not be, and then something happens with his knee? These games don't matter, and they definitely won't in a pandemic season. We'll have plenty of games where the other team won't have anyone to compete against us.

Embiid is a literal Basketball savant. Picking up the game 10 years ago as a late starter to now being a legit MVP/DPOY when fully healthy and switched
on happens on the rarest of occasions.

Sit back everyone and enjoy him. My fav player!

This is why it's so important to think long term. You are seeing what happens when Embiid removes the inner demons he had because of Brett. I am 100% confident the same will happen with Simmons, but he needs more time, I think next year Simmons will take a huge leap and in 2023 we will be ready to win the championship.

Love Jojo and i think hes playing his best basketball ever.

Still im not sold on his ability to take over in crunch time. He relies way too much on drawing fouls and also tends to play a bit outta control. Plus, post ups are the easier plays to double and recover without giving up wide open shots.

We are still lacking that perimeter star shot creator and closer who can take over in the clutch and make his life easier.

Jo is a monster this season. He has also improved his awareness and passing out of double teams.

Ive said it before. The key to Biid is being a better shooter. He probably the top shooting big right now behind Jokic. He’s playing less bullyball.

I love how Biid sacrificed his game to less bullyball while Ben sacrificed his game by letting Biid and the guards do their offense.

Its probably what the team has been saying about “buying into the system”.

Simmons hasn't sacrificed jack ****, he is just hiding on offense. We need to demand him to attack the rim more and shoot.
