Why is TNT blacked out tonight? Seems like it's randomly blacked out for Laker games...since the game is always on spectrum

No paint protection, but they still close with a 3 guard lineup.

I don't think Schroder should close games in place of KCP or Caruso (if the team is scoring well). The game was already in hand before they put Schroder in and took Caruso out.

Happy with the win. When it comes to good teams, we have come out and played.

I still don't like the stat line from AD. I need him to have 10+ rebounds every game.

Great effort, but unrealistic 3pt shooting. Wish AD was more dominant inside, but he didn't have to force it with KCP lighting it up.

It's really a big deal that this team can coast most of the season and still turn it on for the important games... We couldn't do that last season until the playoffs. Only concern is AD still hasn't really had a dominant game... That needs to happen soon, just so he knows he can...

They actually flipped the switched Feb last year, beating the Bucks and Clips within 4 days.
AD seems to me that he is trying to re-invent himself as a 16-18ft spot up shooter. He is taking about 60% of his shots from beyond 12 feet and I am not going to say that he is soft bec every player is different, some can absorb hard contacts every game and some can't.
It is my hope that when NOT IF, their shooters go cold esp in the playoffs, that he will do EVERYTHING necessary to dominate and help this team that most likely include attacking the basket more. Equally important is that Vogel has 5 really good offensive schemes saved up to maximize his very talented players. UCLA cut, a simple form of a triangle using his high IQ stars, Lebron setting a hard pick for AD down low while Marc providing the entry pass etc etc etc.

That was in the final 3 games before the bubble... And would have been maybe 2 weeks before the playoffs in a regular season. They had no idea a bubble was coming and had pretty much got crushed in every big game last season other than those 2... Which is why they were so important.

AD's taking it easy... Why he's resorting to jumpers... A skill he dominated at in the playoffs, and one we'll need him to have honed this season... But we still need him to show he can turn it on and dominate a couple times this season.. I don't really care when he does it, but he can't coast ALL season and expect to just naturally have the ability to go to the next level when it counts. Otherwise there's a good chance he'll pull a Kawhi in the post season.
Another reason he may be focusing on the midrange game this season more is as good as he is from 3, we have better 3 pt shooters this season and even have Marc to take those shots... So it's not as much of a need for him.

This shortened season is a long 72 games. It has not been shortened by much it is pretty much a full season. We still have more than 50 games to play. That is a lot and it is a marathon.

AD coasting isn't much of an issue even if we are in March. I mean there is still plenty of play left when he starts to get in gear then.

Yeah, for chemistry and player mental makeup reasons I’m sticking to my starting lineup; AC, KCP, LBJ, AD, Gasol.

PG: Luka / Vincent / Bronny
