Basically he looks Dion Waiters level type ceiling so far but I feel he will come on strong his 2nd year. The team he plays on is considered the worst defensively in the league.

Re: Ant-Man ain't it
Yeah I was taking a look at his numbers earlier and was shocked to see how bad they were. Obviously it's only the first month of his first season so I fully expect him to take big steps in the coming years but if he just stagnates I don't even have him on the All-Rookie second team. But I would imagine he improves. He can't get worse. Right?

He has the athleticism of a young Wade.
He picked up Bball late.
He's a player I'd wait for 3-4 years in the NBA system before calling a bust.

Then no1 should have drafted him and let him play in college for 3-4 years.
Theres alot of guys drafted purely on physical ability and bust our of the league where if maybe if they did stay in college longer they would end up having a better chance at a long and successful NBA career.
Now honestly if i knew I was going to get drafted high im taking my money and running.
So it ees wat it ees.

Let's write off a rookie 15 games into the season.
Sounds legit.

It’s odd the wolves drafted Edwards while knowing they were paying Beasley and Russell then bring back Rubio while having Culver. Edwards doesn’t seem like a priority for the franchise and it’s still to build around Towns. It’s still very early but I can’t see how he hits his potential with that many players being priority over him

It was pretty well known that he's the only player in this draft with superstar potential but also had the lowest floor of the top 5. This wasn't seen as a particularly strong draft so Minny took the risk.

He had horrible efficiency in college and has horrible efficiency in NBA. IF you can't even perform better against inferior competition, you're just unable to score efficiently at the next level. Was a bust from the start.

It'll be a repeat of history-- like when the wolves picked rubio and finn over curry. They will regret picking ant-man over wiseman. But I think ant-man will have a career.

Mind you, I'm certainly not writing him off after a hand full of games in his rookie season, but with that said, I also wouldn't spend the first pick on a player who is 3-4 years away, who openly talks about how he doesn't really love basketball.

he doesnt even like ball and prefers football. whats the point of wasting a top 5 pick on him?
Doncic will be goat. Lauri will be his sidekick.

Michael Jordan seemed to like baseball a whole lot. I wouldn't have minded drafting him though.

The biggest warning sign with Edwards to me was that his teams in High School did awful. If the #1 pick can't carry a team against high schoolers, thats scary. And he his body was pretty filled out back then too.
