If we're terrible enough, Grant may ask out. Then we can flip him.
One can only hope - if you can flip him for Boston’s exception, you could actually then flip that... and end up with a decent number of picks.
Houston was beating him up last night, and that’s going to become the book on him.
Man the refs just cant be consistent. I've seen games where he would have shot 25 free throws for all the contact he was getting.
Sometimes the games can be more physical. Even some quarters can be Sumo matches, but beginning the next quarter any contact is a foul. Just never know.
Hitting people on the arms when they go to shoot is a sure fire way to slow someone down. If it never gets called, its the right play.
He did have a dozen free throws, but the pounding was constant - it’s almost like the Rockets were breaking the refs in, which happens often. The 04-08 Pistons used to talk about doing that - they’d foul and foul often, and dare the refs to constantly call them. Then when it’s late, nothing gets called. Just like last night - that final play was a fail because PJ Tucker was able to ignore Blake and crash into Grant without a foul called. Simple as that.
