My answer would be that he’s the only dude besides Ayton and Bridges that is willing to make an attempt to get to the rim. But since Monty’s game plan seems to be jacking shameless 3s it’s probably just because of the injuries and subpar play from the other bench guys.
I think I'd rather see Moore get minutes.

Needs to flop more. The refs require you to admit that they are the authority, and the flop is a deference to their power.grumpysaddle wrote:Bridges was also in foul trouble basically the entire second half. He's known for his defense and he still gets no respect from the refs like other players known for defense.
SHAZAM!
Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Jokic was 6'11" AROUND, not tall, but he dieted before this season.

We're going to finish 8th and lose to a play-in team.

Then GSW and back to back with Dallas. If Booker doesn't return, we're in some serious trouble.
And at the 7 seed, we are only a half game ahead of Dallas and GS....and the Spurs.

I wish I could blame losses like this solely on the team playing poorly, cause I do truly hate complaining about the refs and wish I didn't have to. I could see one or two obvious terrible calls a game, but when it's like.. 15 perplexing calls and whistles a game, it's hard not to correlate their bias.

I'm tipping Phoenix vs Memphis for the last playoff spot.

Can't explain how a scrub with no game can get so many minutes when a shooter and smart defender doesn't?!

Big wins for Denver. The good thing is, home games don't mean jack S anymore so if we go to Denver, we can win just as easily as they can win here.
I am not scared of them if we meet them in the playoffs. Just need to learn from this. Ayton had an OK game. Still seeing positives but just has to be smarter. He had 2 terrible fouls in the 2nd or 3rd. One that was committed because he was mad a foul wasn't called on the other end.
Nader driving is good to see because it's drawing in the D but he is reckless. Teams will quickly learn to push him towards the baseline and he'll make a mistake. I don't expect we'll see much more of him when we're healthy again.
At this point, i want to see Smith play more. We're playing with house money as long as Booker is out.
god bless Paul. he did everything he could to get us a win today. It wasn't meant to be

Chris Paul went 5 of 6 in the clutch thought he found his shot making again which is a great sign.

We’ll be up 15 points going into the 4th in that game too.

I won’t lie and say I won’t be back regardless, but this current team is horrible to watch. They do the same dumb crap over and over and Monty does nothing about it.
Still, we were down Book and already Saric and took a WCF team on a crazy shot to take it to OT. Then we lose Ayton and Cam, and still take it to double OT.
I can't blame this too much on anyone with the officiating.
Sure Monty could do things better (like fouling at end of regulation and putting them on the line for 3 when we were up 3 and the timeout last night), but ultimately our team is in a position to win both games against a WCF team and Monty has to get some credit for that.
We are going against a top 5 player in the NBA.
Your points are valid and I appreciate your optimism, I will be able to agree once I cool off. But until then...this is just another blown game because we don’t play the right way on O for a full 48. It’s the same problems every game regardless of who is playing.

And +14 in a game that we lost by 9.

Just about every foul on Ayton was BS, the league has to stop rewarding flopping. It’s frustrating.

Nader is a hustle guy maybe that's why Monty loves playing him heavy minutes. Tonight he played 29 min that's more than anyone on our bench and 5 min less than Cam.

Arghhhh!! 3-6 in our last 9 games after beginning season at 5-1. My good luck charm no longer works even game threads as well. Ducler make us proud.

Ah. Ya, Smith should have gotten more burn for sure. It would have been impossible for him to be as ineffective guarding Jokic as Kaminsky was. When Ayton fouled out I knew it was over because Denver would just throw it down to Jokic in the post every play. And-1 City with Kaminsky guarding him.
It’s almost like if you have a skilled big and the other team can’t guard him you should feed it to him every possession instead of playing hot potato around the 3pt line...

Re: Game 15: Denver Nuggets (8-7) @ Phoenix Suns (8-6) l Saturday l 7:00pm l FSNAZ
I thought our best two off season moves were:
1. Resigning Saric
2. Drafting Jalen Smith
Unfortunately we have not had either of those two virtually the entire season. I think once we get them healthy things will turn around in a very good way. It would help if Cam Johnson, the reported knowk down shooter we drafted, would start making a higher percentage of his wide open looks.
We could use a reliable back up 2 guard as well. I had hopes for Nader, but those hopes are fading fast. WTF happened to Galloway ?
