Rouven Schröder is available. What do you think?

Sorry to disappoint you, but I can already tell you how the search for the Labbadia and Preetz replacements is going to look like. They google "biggest name available" and take the first guy on the list who is desperate enough to take the job. This is exactly how the club finds new players and since this has been such a massive success I don't see why they would change their strategy now.

Watch out Bayern, the BIG CITY CLUB is coming.

Depressing jokes aside, I feel bad for Labbadia. He never got a fair chance.

The situation is not as bad as it seems Nathan.

I think the roster is easily fixable.

Here are my main concerns for Hertha:
- Not enough deliveries for Coroba —> Fix by getting two traditional wingers. Dont even have to be the highest quality level. Just two guys that will regularly manage to cause some confusion on the wing and deliver balls to Cordoba.
- Defensive midfield is too weak.
Toussard and Guendo really arent warriors in terms of winning duels in the middle. Fix by playing Ascacibar behind them.
- CBs are too weak —> Get a new left CB to pair with Boyata once healthy
- FBs are too weak on both sides. Take a look at how Netz develops. Pekarik, Klünter, Zeefuik, Plattenhardt, Mittelstädt...none of them is a good LB. Mittelstädt isnt even a LB to begin with.
Pekarik is okay as backup. Everyone else minus Netz is just deadweight on the payroll. With Mittelstädt I would take a look whether he has a role on his traditional striker position in the team. If not you dont need him either.

- Too many players on the roster —> Fix by getting rid of:
Stark
Cunha
Piatek
Zeefuik
Klünter
Alderete
Leckie
Löwen

Lukebakio hasnt performed either but might be useful in games where Hertha has to rely a little more on counter attacks. So I d keep him around.

And really...I would start with getting rid if Cunha, Piatek and Stark. That would help a lot already. Addition by subtraction.

Agree with most of what you have said, but I do think that makes it look pretty bad.

It will take a lot of roster moves to make this team good and it doesn't seem like real help is coming soon. The time isn't there right now. Agree that we need wingers, that has been super obvious and Preetz ignored it. That just makes it so easy to defend this team and there's not much you can do about it with only one winger (Dilrosun, but he's injured 99% of the time) on the team. I don't see that changing much until the summer.

I still like Cunha, he's super talented and had his moments. Wouldn't give him up yet.

The rest of the players you mentioned can GTFO.

I dont know about Cunha.

Yeah, he is probably the most talented player on the roster but whenever I see him it does not feel like he is a winning player. Like yesterday, when he purposely ignored Piatek because he wanted to make the 2-3 himself and failed. Piatek surely would ve scored.

I‘d have a hard time building my roster around such unreliability.

Absolutely see your point, I would just hate to give up on such a talented guy at that age so soon.

Dardai actually got a contract until 2022? That's kind of surprising. Not sure I like that...and I love Pal.

Well...that was disappointing.

Offense absolutely a work in progress and the defense cant keep a clean sheet either.

Eintracht sitting in 3rd spot right now.

Cant say this often enough...Bobic has done an amazing job there with limited money.

Like I said: google biggest names available and sign the first guy who's desperate enough to do it. That's the strategy.

Can you hand over Ngankam please? This guy is promissing and will just waste on Herthas bench...after they have signed some Radonjic guy who looks line a waste of money as well.

Sure. Have to save money everywhere to talk Schweinsteiger out of retirement.

Wonder what Michael Ballack is doing these days?

Its not better here either, though.

We just signed 3 goals in Championship Glatzel to save us from relegation lol.

Feel like Arne Friedrich could bring in Oliver Kahn as goalkeeper.

Might actually be an improvement, though. Hahaha

They are significant upgrades for them.

Dont think it will be enough to avoid relegation though

Jerome Boateng is another guy Hertha could waste a ton of money on in the summer.

What do you think Nathan?

See what I mean with Cunha Nathan?

Going for the chip instead of the clean shot to tie the game lol
