Watched the first 2 Night Stalker. Really good. Lots that I didn't know.

Anime Corner!

Wonder Egg Priority, has been the most exciting new show of the season. It's an original story, helmed by a TV/Movie guy who's never touched anime before. It's unabashedly queer, incredibly weird, and equal parts dark and hopeful. I haven't seen a show so willing to embrace the possibilities of animation while rejecting the conventions of anime since probably Paranoia Agent.

It's a hard show to describe, and I'd encourage people to go in cold anyways. It's a story about dreams, trauma, and figuring out how to connect with others. It's two episodes in, so the wheels could fall off, but so far it's blown me away.

Always heard Mr. Robot was good but never watched. Watched the first episode this morning. It hooked me from the first minute.

Anybody watch Devs on Hulu/FX? It was by far my favorite show of last year. Alex Garland is a genius in my eyes

One of my favorite series ever. I know a lot of people who gave up on 2nd Season because they found it to be too weird/crazy.
In case you have any questions left at the end of S.02 everything is explained on the 3rd. It has a lot of twists, stick with it, totally worth it.

Sonoya Mizuno was so bad in that series, it almost completely pulled me out of it. Other than her, I liked it.

Operation Odessa on Netflix is a pretty enjoyable doc. One of those so weird you wouldn't believe it if it wasn't true stories.

I think with Barry they had a plan to take a little break before shooting season 3 and were supposed to start production in March or April last year. But other than that they went ahead and wrote season 4 like you said, I haven't heard anything about when they're planning on starting production. Maybe they'll shoot them back to back if they get an early renewal. To be clear, I'm not criticizing, I just miss the shows.

Godzila vs Kong.... To me, golden standard for movies like these is probably independence day. Effects in that one are so good, because they used real models, and it is just more fun to watch real **** get wrecked. CGI is just not there yet for me to be exited about all this destruction honestly, (and they do not use CGI beacause its better, they use it because its easier, and thats sad) I wish they still used practical effects, now it might as well just be animated film.

The criticism of Wandavision early on is that it relies too heavily on Easter Eggs. I agree with that.

Thankfully, things start to get going in the third episode and I'm pretty confident in it becoming great.

I'm loving WandaVision, but it's definitely more niche than what the Marvel machine usually puts out. The concept - creating a comfortable artificial world to deal with grief, but unable to control the darkness seeping in - is great, and a bit David Lynch like. I'm sure the sci-fi action is about to drop, but I have no complaints so far.

And I think "drunk" Vision was hilarious.
