unsure but if it felt like that, it's because that team was just not as good as everyone thought it was supposed to be.

it rarely ever felt like that team was building upon anything special. but to succeed you need to be figuring things out, admitting your flaws, and working on them.

that was never gonna be the case with doc, but with lue? we can see that growth from game to game.

I think the most we won in a row last year was 5 games when we got that hot streak against the Rockets and Nuggets shortly before the 3rd Lakers game and league shut down.

Kawhi was the star we expect. Reggie showed up big time in second half.

It was interesting when the 3's were clearly not falling, they kept throwing them out there. They really believe, all of them except maybe Zu, that they can get the 3 to fall.

OKC put out more effort, they are younger, much more offensive glass success. Made me happy to see SGA doing so well, I wish him the best.

Lou Williams again disappointing. Who would have thought the one positive thing we could say is mentioning his defensive work.

Very concerned about Pat Bev's knee and Morris' illness... need those guys for the road trip.
The Clipper fan understands the Book of Exodus better than anyone... what it's like to struggle 40 years in the wilderness... and Genesis.. why Cain went after Abel... So fLakers, look out... we're coming.

Yeah, I think our biggest win streak was 5. That's when Kawhi was going off and PG was injured. that five game stretch which included miami which I remember fondly.

Other than that, each time we would get to 4, we'd lose. We barely could get a 3 game winning streak going last year. It felt like we win one, lose 1. Win 2 lose 1

Glad we have this level of consistency now. Really glad the bozo coach is gone. I tried to be patient with him last year.

Caught the first half. Clips were playing with heart and finished up 56-45 so I went over to the NFL. Looked like it was in the bag, and it was. Ibaka was KILLING it--finished 7-8 from the field.

Unless you count Muscala. :rofl2: We tossed his sorry ass to the Lakers and got Zubac in return.

I want Zu to get 20+ mpg. Let the kid eat up the minutes, But he did finish minus-3 even playing with starters. Save Serge for when we need him.

Serge: 22 minutes. 7-8 from the field, 2-2 from 3-point, 6 reb, +11, 17 points. But the Okies don't even HAVE a center so Serge feasted. Let's take a step back until he takes on Gobert, Joker and Draymond. Serge will be the finisher in the playoffs--let's get real-- but I'd like to see Zu stay out of foul trouble and carry more of the minutes. Good show today.

______________

Reggie finished minus-6 but that's OK. He's here to cover Bev and Lou's minutes when they go down. Minus-6 but 14 points in 20 minutes when Bev went down. Reggie is insurance. He came through.

Things were going so good when the COVID stoppage hit that there were people who stopped mouthing off how much we sucked.

Sure, if you ignore the Lakers loss that brought us back to reality. Watching the Lakers target Lou and Trez defensively over and over again in the fourth quarter with zero adjustments from Doc was another classic example of how poorly-coached (and poorly-constructed) the team was.

Omg I was watching that Lakers game with my son and we were screaming about making an adjustment as the Lakers were exploiting that over and over and over. A rock could have coached us better.

If ever there was a trap game, this was it. Having to beat a lesser team you just beat 48 hours before. This was a LOT like work. Ty gave the scrubs some burn but still had to use Kawhi. Fortunately they never got closer than 6 but he was playing with fire.

Plus, why the hell were we playing a Sunday matinee with the other Staples tenants out of town? The was a front office ****up bigtime.

We can't make that trade work, but Bev and Lou for Rubio does. I would be down for that. I think Rubio's D and playmaking would work well with Kawhi and PG. Minny has to do something. I can't see us sending Lou or PB there though, but i could see us working a 3 team deal that puts those two on a playoff contender.
