Hell yea. Wish I bought more :banghead:

Stannis, you can pick up on Kucoin also.
Also recently picked up a small bag of UNI and HTR.
HTR has some serious potential. Do your research though...

Can I use Kucoin as a US Citizen? And can I buy them with US Dollar?

You can use if your from the US but you can’t pay with US dollars. You need to buy btc,Eth, usdt and transfer to kucoin. I am pretty sure you can buy those directly on Kucoin with a credit card but I have never done that.
If you are serious about it, go do as much research as possible on reddit, Twitter, telegram on how to buy, transfer and hold crypto. It’s a lot to learn but you want to be as knowledgeable as possible before diving in.

Because its easy to create a coin or token. 98% of them are trash. I'd say less than 100 are legit and of those 100 only a handful will be around in 10 years,

Even though I started this thread I;ve been out of the market for a couple of years so i dont have a to ten. If I jumped back in now, I would probably go all in on DOT. I year ago I would have gone all in on ETH because it was on~$95

Most of them are trash but there quite a few with actual working products

Coins in the DEFI space for example are actually building value and utility to the world

Just some inside info but there are some video games being developed that will utilize concepts that are being developed in DEFI right now and create a play to earn model and revenue sharing on a whole other scale compared to now. Growth is literally going exponential because there is nothing to tie it down at this point.

NFTs will also be huge, the cryptokitties of 2017 has evolved into something much better and more palatable for most people. NFTs will be built into gaming and defi space as well.

Get in on DOT. They will also be building on top of ethereum as well as bridging between multiple platforms, and it's not vaporware. I have spoken to VCs and they want in on any and all DOT projects, this is not a test, they are coming. I feel bad for those unaware of this and selling DOT because all these projects will be using DOT to pay for "gas" fees much like ETH is now.

Thanks! I'm going to be buying some DOT tomorrow. And maybe some KSM as well.

What's your opinion on Enjin Coin? It just became the first whitelisted gaming Crypto in Japan.

Sucks I can't use my holding to gain interest on Blockfi or Celsius. NY is way behind when it comes to crypto....

What's a good site to use in its place? Binance US doesn't allow NY people..

I don't even use centralized exchanges anymore

Get a metamask wallet and go into Uniswap

Is Uniswap legit?

I'm afraid of getting in with these new coins, as I like to hold for long times and not trade in and out.

I'm already in LINK and DOT.

I just want a place to put all my alt-coins for now. I have them in Binance and can't do anything with them right now.

I also wanna get on that DOT coin but now my place to buy coins has locked me out essentially.. and most places seem to restrict NY users. You know of a good place to buy alt-coins in NY?

I don't wanna deal with getting a VPN if I can avoid it

Get a metamask wallet and send your ERC-20 tokens there https://metamask.io/

Get a polkadot wallet and send your DOT there https://polkadot.js.org/apps/#/accounts

Everything else, they should have their own wallets, just search the project's website

As for buying alts, you pretty much forced to use coinbase, bitstamp, or gemini. I use Uniswap myself to buy erc-20 tokens.

Kucoin. Accessible from NY and has a ton of alts on it including DOT.
Been using it for years and am a big fan. Definitely some gems on that exchange waiting to pop.

I use Uniswap. Probably shouldn't because of high gas fees but I want to use decentralized. Binance and Coinbase report to the government dont they?

I put $5k USD into GRT a couple weeks ago.

100% GRT gains, got in at .26.

GRT is one of the best projects right now. I think its about as safest a $1/coin bet you can get.

I'm also in LTO, UNI and LCX right now. Might buy Rubic if it drops down below 4 cents. Then of course some of the moonshots I put a little cash in just to have a million coins of something in case it ever hits 1 cent. Like DEXA (I think mentioned here)
