At least you replaced him with the White Glove
Didn't mean to sound racist. Was it?
You didn't go too far tho replacing him with another Payton

Re: Award Winning Lakers Board NBA Dynasty League - Year 7
At least Pritchard can shoot. That should go a long way in him being for a long time in this league.
Seems like a RO guard. 4.1 rpg 4.4 ast 1.6 spg 0.6 bpg and high FG% per 36. I hope he stays IL'ed for a long time though, he's probably better suited next year.
Payton was solid for me even with this flaws(low FT%, points, 3's and FG%...I'm punting 3/4 of those so I didn't give a ****). Up until this year. They went with Randle playmaking so his assists are cut down in half. And for some reason he doesn't steal the ball anymore.
Went from 7 ish assists and 1.5 steals last year to half that in both cats, even though the minutes are still there. Time to let it go.

I'm high on Pritchard but it's just too many rookies for me to handle given the injuries. And I don't think I can keep him anyway. Still competing so might as well make moves for the now.
Elf might still be good in a team where he can ba the lead playmaker. It's not impossible to get Dejounte numbers

He can't shoot. I don't know if he'll get a crack at starting again after this year. And I don't think he's good enough to own as a backup.
We'll see, it's been quite a run for me, I picked him up in the OG draft when he was a rookie, without him playing a game in the league.
405 games in his career, all accounted for my team. I'm shedding a tear.

ROballer wrote:Every single matchup that I lost was because of random ass things going for the other team. Even the 2-6 against moonie, if I had just Drummond for the last day last week I'd probably win.
This weeks dud? John **** Wall. That son of a bitch had to come back early and ruined everything. I am stuck, I have only Brunson who I can cut(don't want to do anyone else), but can't because Wall is IL'ed while healthy. I can't do any moves until I move his ass to the lineup. If Wall was INJ, I could drop Brunson for more assists like that.
Meanwhile the other guy is scrambling like crazy to get some assists and beat me. News flash guy, you **** suck this year so it won't even matter.
And I have 4 players out due to PPD's just today.
I can easily add Rondo if I want and win assists and the matchup...but that would mean I need to drop a guy I don't want to drop.
So I'm tanking the matchup for the greater good.
Enjoy the meaningless win.
Meanwhile this team just beat your team. BTW.... don't we ALL play by the same rules? Reading all of your bitching and moaning you'd think you're the only team that is affected by the PPD's and not able to pickup a player if you have someone on the IL who is healthy. Look "Nancy" put on your big girl panties and play the game.
Funny how you tank the match up on Sunday night.

I'd beat your ass silly at 100%, I don't even care what you have missing.
I owned you in the categories I won, we could played another 2 weeks and it wouldn't be close. And I had my 2nd worst assists week at 132(no.1 being the shortened Week 1), without Wall at all, Rubio almost at all, Haliburton etc.
I'm a 200 assists a week guy when I have all of my guys, stop the stupid rant and get your facts straight.
You'll never win FG%, REB, AST, STE, BLKS against me with your trash can team if I have my guys playing, even at 150% so shut the **** up. Nobody cares what players you have missing.
You are one of the worst teams in the league and scrambled like a bitch with Lou and other guys to steal a **** category.
And yeah, I DID tank the matchup on Sunday. What's not clear? I had a move left and Rondo was available. I could've added him and won but guess what, my head is actually working and I know the 6 teams that are making the playoffs. I'm not one of them, you clearly aren't one either.
I lost by 3. Rondo had 7. Basic math.
Go ahead and cry me a river some more. This guy is the one who passed on Chris Paul for Whiteside because he is a little butthurt bitch who can't take some trash talking.
He's basically decided he won't deal with me even if he comes up on top because he got his feelings hurt.

Re: Award Winning Lakers Board NBA Dynasty League - Year 7
There are three teams in the league I won't maul when all the rosters are at 100%.. Earl, Moonie and Optms.
I matchup bad against them and they can steal a cat or two from my strong 5. It can go either way.
Moonie has strong defensive stats, Optms has strong steals and assists, Earl has strong FG%, reb and assists.
The rest I don't give a **** about the yapping."Oh, we're missing guys too". You can kiss my big ol hairy ass, you won't beat me at my 5 strong.
You are just lucky I'm not at 100%.
I look at the cold hard facts, which lie in the weekly numbers and what players are averaging. I don't speak from the anus.
I'll 5-4 every one of you to death and you'll think it's close because of that number, but it isn't really.

1. get my facts right? Which part of my team won this week and your team didn't isn't right? THAT my friend is a FACT!
2. Stop the stupid rant? dude, who is ranting? I'm responding to your bitching
3. Scrambled to pickup up players.... Well DUH that is what you do to try and win and NOT QUIT which apparently you like to do if things don't go your way.
4. cry you a river? com'on Nancy... who is crying? Very easy to criticize a trade in hindsight. Do you hear me bitching that I made a mistake? where do you come off saying that I'm "butthurt" when I never even mention the trade that could have helped me? I told you why I didn't trade the lump of coal now sitting on my INJ list. Never would I have thought he would QUIT! I guess that is why you liked him? cause he quits when things don't go his way?
so for last week all I will say is SCORE BOARD BITCH!
Until next time.... hopefully you don't quit (again)

Re: Award Winning Lakers Board NBA Dynasty League - Year 7
Who the **** is quitting? Did I not set my lineups? I didn't want to drop I player I want to use just to win a meaningless category, that's what you did.
I wanted to win but to an extent, it's a dynasty league. I'm not jeopardizing my future to win a single cat on an average week.
I could've won at the expense of somebody, that's a FACT(I presented proof). I am better team when healthy, regardless of your players. That's another FACT(check the statistical totals). You go ahead and throw that muddy win in my face from the 10th place, if it helps your season.
Knowing things don't go your way and thinking about the next years is not quitting if that's what you're implying. Go ahead and scramble with the streamers if you want to fight for the 8th spot, nobody's stopping you. Some of us know this is a dynasty league.
And about the trade, the reasoning was trash then and it is now. And don't feed me the bull, you know why you didn't do it. I asked you before the draft what do you want for one of your picks. You saw my message, didn't even reply...and proceeded to post on the thread that your pick is available and eventually traded with somebody else, even though I could've offered more.
It's clear you are butthurt by me talking trash, ranting or anything else and you won't trade because of that. Even if it helps you out and makes sense. And I have no respect for guys like that.
I've had way worse arguments with other guys but at the end of the day, if a trade made sense we'd do it in a matter of minutes, regardless of what was said on the fantasy thread. I don't have to like anybody or be buddies to deal with, you apparently can't.

And btw.... I have to say it, it hurts not to.
Chris Boucher is a **** scrub and he's losing minutes to a japanese player who isn't even a C now.

Get that trash out of here.
I was provoked, I'm beating this horse until he's waived and picked up by Erzurum BB or whatever team you haven't heard off. That's where he should be playing.

Don't. You have made your point, as I made mine. I'm spending my energy on hating on Chris Boucher now, don't have the time to go on two fronts.

Moved up to 11th! Yay?
Finally got some players back in my lineup.... maybe I can break my losing streak for my first win this season versus Optms.
Poku's shooting percentage is starting to worry me, 16 of 71, 22.5 percentage for the season- yikes!

Re: Award Winning Lakers Board NBA Dynasty League - Year 7
Up In Smoke Open for Trade Talks....
As ro so "eloquently " pointed out, I did make a huge mistake by not accepting his offer of Chris Paul for Whiteside at the start of the season. My reply was I really needed a center with his boards, etc.... Of course if we all had a crystal ball life would be so easy (and boring) and if I had known this POS would quit I would have dumped his ass on ro. but I didn't and we are here today with Up In Smoke in the 10th spot.
So.... I'm here to say I WILL NOT TANK. but I want to be ready for next years draft. What that means is I will do what ever it takes to win any category..... I will "scramble" to win Asst, Reb, 3pt, etc... I don't care if you're in 1st, 2nd or last place. I'm NOT GOING TO QUIT! If I can bump you from #2 to #3 or #4.... I will be happy. I'm from the old school where you don't give up or TANK.
With that said, I understand I'm in 10th place and looking to gain ground on the 9th place team. BUT with my older than S!@# team and my center that quit, I'm sure i won't make it to the playoffs.
So, I will be open to "fair" trades that will help me next year and/or the years after. Everyone is open on Team Up In Smoke to a fair trade.

Quote me.
This version of Boogie is better than empty stats Wood. Maybe not fantasy but in real world(although it's not that far in fantasy as well, give both the same minutes and the gap is not wide).
That's this year Boogie, getting his feet wet after all those missed years. Next year it won't be close.
Boogie has impact and wins games, Wood just puts up stats(see Detroit and Hou for that matter). He's gonna Holmes the Whiteside at some point and I'll be here to rub it in.
