The analysis... Lonzo thrives in high pace systems with a gaurd who excels in creating his own shot and playing in the PnR... sounds familiar...

I'd take a chance on Ball with Donovan as coach.I'd also be giving Joachim a call to see if i could get him for the rest of the season.1)To replace Carter temporarily 2)maybe teach the bigs something and 3)leadership.Its worth it.

Another reason the Bulls should add Drummond. The guy doesn’t miss games.

Lonzo is the perfect guard to pair with LaVine.

We should go for a better 1st. Like around the 15th pick or so.

No player that cannot shoot is a perfect player for anything in today’s NBA. Short term band-aid at best. I would not give up anything of much value for him.

He’s a free agent at the end of the season. Makes sense to wait.

Otto Porter for Ball and Redick. With all their flaws they suitted up for games, Otto not majority of the time. Sign Noah Vonleh to replace WCJ.

Trading for Lonzo would be such a typical Bulls trade... When we should be targeting an elite distributor like Simmons.

^ Is Simmons available?

I think Lonzo would be a good fit for the team and a great buy low low risk gamble.

I wonder if Sato, Kornet and a second rounder gets it done.

What about this? With the money we will clear from OPJ´s expiring contract and CAP hold we sign Jrue Holiday in the off season to a 3 year deal (2+1 with the final being a player option)? Since he is eleigible for the max 35% but is not really a max player how about something like a 3/90M with the 3rd year a player option?

He would be a great fit, but why would he opt out from a contender and join the Bulls for no raise and only two extra years?
Hard to believe the Bucks traded a lot of assets for him without being willing to pay for his next contract. Unless they crash out spectacularly, or he and Giannis fall out for some unforeseeable reason, I can't imagine this being realistic.

Probably not realistic and we would have to massively overpay to get him, but he fits like a glove and would be the perfect compliment to Zach. He would disguise Zach´s defensive weaknesses and also bring really good leadership, distribution, and shooting.

I'd do that, probably as a first move of a couple more. Over on the trade board people were talking about who MEM should keep to build around and who could move. If MEM saw something else they liked on the Bulls I'd be game to expand this or look at a second deal. They start Grayson Allen at SG shooting 39%, not sure who they would find to start but they can't be happy with him. I've liked him since he lit up the Bulls two years ago, he's a cheap change of scenery candidate.

I like the idea of Otto for Ball and Reddick. I'd ask about Ball/Hart and a 2nd just to see if they'd go since they'd be adding Porter to their front court mix.

I'd see who would take Satoransky for a SF in a similar contract situation

Trading Markkanen and Porter for a pair of guards shifts the abundance from the front court to the back court. Both deals end up with

White Ball Satoransky
Lavine White Reddick
Dieng Gafford Kornet
Williams Temple Valentine
Young Williams Hutchison

With all they would have to give up to get Simmons, who would he distribute the ball to?

Ak continued GarPax inactivity path. Last 2 1/2 last trade Bulls made was Portis and Parker for Porter two years ago. We have one free agent this offseason. People would thought that this is some kind of dynasty and we need to keep things in tact. In realitty zero 30 wins and zero playoffs appereance in last three years with zero all star players. Idk just if Morey/Masai/Pelinka running this franchise for last 3 years 70% of this roster would already be moved.

There is no way Philadelphia trades Simmons. He’s a 6’10 athletic freak playing point guard, nearly averaging a triple double. Plus, he is only 24 years old. You don’t trade those types of players ever.

Embiid gets moved before Simmons.
