It's a choice. He's had games where he's notched 5 assists.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Pretty interesting stuff going on with the GLeague for this season.

They normally have 29 teams I believe and play a 50 game schedule, but this season they are opting for a bubble tournament that will run for about 2 months? or so. They are also having about 10-12 teams opting out of the tournament this season and forgo the season.

I have seen Greensboro on a list of teams that have supposedly opted in which is great, because we could use Riller, McDaniels, Rookie Bigs etc getting some good run.

Also, they have the GLeague Ignite squad that is full of the HS kids who chose to forgo college all on the same roster with Green, Kuminga and Todd. Cool idea to not just stick them with a random Franchise team, they are filling the rest of the roster with Vets with no team association.

I believe they are looking at the tournament to run in March?

Talk about bad year to launch the Ignite. Will be interesting to see how it goes, G-League is filled with guys that were all conference level college players. I wonder if their games will actually count it was originally going to be exhibition games.

don't we get extra roster spots due to covid? I'd totally keep Lance and Emeka on the bench here just for the memes
get the dynamic duo of Mully and DJ White back together too

Not sure the strategy in the GLeague Draft, but here is a list of the entrants and we have number 1 pick.

Honestly probably doesn't matter, but I do think he has potential to be a strong defender and a decent shooter. We have no true 3D developmental guys on this squad right now.

Assuming Richards and Carey will get a lot of burn on this team, so unlikely they draft another big that would cloud minutes.

Admiral Schofield is a strong "draft for name alone" candidate for me.

McDaniels, Riller, Richards and Carey all assigned.

Might mean we are going to try and sign a vet for depth while they are gone. Tournament starts Feb. 8

Does anyone know if the G League bubble games will be broadcast anywhere?

Be great to see some of the kids play.

I was a bit of a Schofield fan - remember wanting him in the second round a coupla years back. Fun fact - born in London.

Would definitely enjoy watching the Swarm play.

Feels like a billion years ago that I spent an unhealthy amount of time suggesting we should bring K.J. McDaniels to Charlotte.

I long thought he was a Gerald Wallace clone with his ability to do a little bit of everything but was being criminally under used on his NBA teams.

I was shocked to just check and see he’s only 27 years old.

Makes sense. They're not traveling, and probably want to get them in and out as quick as possible. I'm guessing teams will go deep into their benches every game, and few players will play full starter minutes out there every night.
