Hank Aaron RIP
I remember when I was a kid, my class went on a field trip to the Georgia Capitol building. Hank Aaron walked by and said hi to us. I thought he was a senator or something. Years later I watched a documentary and then realize who he was and his accomplishments. Aaron is on the Mount Rushmore for Atlanta sports. RIP

Worn my Braves hat all day in honor.
Mt. Rushmore of baseball. Home run king. From everything I’ve read and learned in the last 40 years, an even better human. RIP. Goat. Atlanta lost a legend.

It's truly a sad day.
This one hurts! I've also worn my Braves hat all day to honor him and have seen others.

That stung this morning...watching all the guest speakers on TV...
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

An American icon.
A shining example of what every athlete should strive to be.

Re: Hank Aaron RIP
I was only a baseball fan for Hank's last year or two but I have always respected the way he carried himself since then. He was a real professional and a gentleman. Like others my age I do also consider him the all time HR champ.
My eyes glaze over when reading alternative stat (not advanced stat) narratives that go many paragraphs long. If you can not make your point in 2 paragraphs it may not be a great point.
