I want nothing to do with Lonzo. He and his family would do nothing but complain if he was coming off the bench. there will be another team that has way more interest in Lonzo than Boston. Hard pass on LBALL

He had a major falling out with his dad. They since reconciled, but they went an extended period without talking to each other. Theres a reason you havent heard from LaVar about Lonzo since he got trades to NO.

We trade for him he’s gonna want to maximize his next contract and will he be ok in a bench role? I don’t think klutch is gonna want him off the bench even if it’s with a team going on a post season run.

I would, too.. he can fix his shot, the issue is that he’s not able to get to the rim and finish reliably, it’s dragging his percentages down - no easy baskets. He’s better than he looks right now.

But I would also be happy to see us pick up Frank Ntilikina - tall, long, great defense at three positions, shot coming along, upside as a playmaker - so I’m not really an objective judge.

Agreed. Ball shot 37.% from 3 last year and he was an excellent defender. I don't buy for a minute that he's washed. He'd be excellent here running our sets, running the break with the Jay's. He'd get everyone easy looks and help increase the pace. I think he'd be awesome.

Hence, why Danny will never trade for him.

I think there is ZERO chance Ball would resign here next year unless he is a starter. Would you trade Ball for a rental? or do you think Boston would even start him? and over who?

Yes, if we are only sending out guys who likely wouldn't be here next season either. Also, we'd have his BR, he can't leave without us. We could flip him for more if he shines the way I think CBS could make him.

Realistically Miami and Denver make the most sense though right?

Denver needs to consolidate and he'll get sent out West so that's probably the best option...

Miami would probably have to trade Herro and multiple picks with salary (Iggy & Olynyk) there is no way they can get him with including Robinson who is an expiring anyway...

What would be our offer exactly? Smart, TT & one of Nesmith/Langford and multiple picks?

Ever watch him play? Zach is about zach. Win or lose he is getting his. Sometimes good players just play on bad teams. This isn't the case. Zach won't win because he makes his team worse everyday he goes.

I don't know a ton about LaVine and doubt he's even on the market anyway. Just wondering how did LaVine get this rep that he only cares about himself? Was it something he said? Or did? Yes LaVine's teams haven't won much but they weren't winning much before he got there either. And Minny hasn't won since he left. Consider that a number of Minny players have been labeled as either selfish or not winning players or both (KG, KAT, Jimmy, LaVine, Wiggins) Is it possible that maybe Chicago and especially Minnesota are just poorly run organizations who don't set their teams up to win so they don't. AD was a losing player before last year. Not picking a fight with you just wondering, how do we know the difference?

Lavine led the revolt against Jim Boylen. Granted - Boylen is a bad coach, but organizing his teammates to not show up for practice because Boylen was working them too hard, and then crying to the players’ union about it?? I dunno. Doesn’t seem like a guy who I’d want on my team.

Yes I have and I believe he is having a good year despite the turnovers. Just a suggestion but I hope Ainge brings a good player who can replace Hayward. ThT TPE better not

Sorry guys but the only way Boston is landing Beal in a trade is if they send Jaylen to Washington. That’s the only way. And it could be a straight up swap too. Other than that Boston has no chance. Look for NOLA, Miami, Philly, Denver to all be at the front of the line for Beal.

Boston’s only hope to land Beal without dealing Brown is if Beal is very specific on where he wants to go and says Boston. Ainge could hypothetically trade 3 1st rounders, a couple swaps down the road, a young pieces and find a 3rd team to flip Kemba to for more assets. But that’s such a long, long shot. Washington will need to hit a home run on this trade. If I was Washington I’m looking at Nola with their young players and picks and trying to get something done with them.
