Wiz get ariza, miller justin jackson, prichard , nesmith
Okc get westbrook, williams III, 2021 boston pick
Boston get hill and Burtans

They fit into boston's tpe, that makes that team stupid deep.

Wiz get a couple young guys and off westbrooks money. Cut Ariza and miller and decide if you want a look at jackson or not.

Thunder get westbrook home for the end of his Playing days, they are in tank mode so the money doesn't matter and a young center and a pick, for taking westbrook, who helps that young team in the locker room too. They look like they are going to loose the gs pick to protections so this makes up for that.

Just a couple of cold takes:

1. Hang onto Beal, show him Mobley highlights and ask him to take a nice vacation for the rest of the season and pretend to have a shoulder injury.

2. Let Bertans come back and take 15 3s a game and boost his value back up enough to move him for a bad contract +2021 protected late 1st that we can use to take Jared Butler.

3. Fire Brooks in the off-season and go through a thorough coaching search in which Beal is HEAVILY involved in. Don’t just pick Kevin Durant’s former coach in a pathetic attempt to lure him home.

4. Re-sign Mathews and Bonga for dirt cheap

Try again next season.

As to including multiple R1 picks along with Monte Morris while taking Bertans' awful contract too...?

If a trade looks like it'll solve most of your problems, that's not likely an available trade.

I disagree. I think they'd trade MPJ for Beal in a heartbeat.

The entire nuggets fanbase disagrees. They are building around Murray, MPJR, and Jokic.

Definitely not, Nuggets (and fans) would definitely do an MPJ for Beal swap. The main obstacle is just that the Nuggets have very few large salaries, so they'd be gutting their depth without many options to sign fill-ins; on exchanging the main value pieces in the trade, there's absolutely no question.

With how you guys manage to hate on Beal for, uh, extremely efficient scoring on high volume, it's hilarious to think what the discourse would be with MPJ on the team. Nuggets fans are considerably less neurotic than Zards fans, on the whole, and in the last few months alone there have still been dust-ups about Porter (a) Snapchatting from the road while his car drives itself (b) getting COVID from playing pickup in public parks on off days

Grizz get beal

Good enough for beal or should the there be another pick added ? Like 2021 utah pick, 2021 grizz pick, 2023 grizz pick 2024 gs pick 2025 grizz pick.

Bane looks like he might have been a steal, we all love brandon clarke, jones is ok and winslow can either be bought out or warm the bench. You cut or trade ish and lopez or gill but it works.

That's just one of many 4-quarters-for-a-dollar deals that are out there. Any relatively young middle-tier team is likely to put together a similar offer of rotation players and late picks. OKC, New Orleans, Orlando, Atlanta and others can field the same package. None of them are that interesting because the picks are late. If that's the only type of deal available, then, sure, we take the best one offered. But I definitely wouldn't pull the trigger on something like this now. I want a deal that gives us one or two guys who could actually be a legit All-Star level player. Not 6 players/prospects who are all merely rotation players.

So, is the trade going to ultimately be Wiggins, Wiseman, and the Minny and GS picks?

If yes, should we do it now, or should we wait till after the draft lottery show - so we know where the Minny and GS picks are (the Dat method)? If the Minny pick turns out to not be what we really want, we get GS to add future pick(s)?

I can’t imagine GS doing that on draft night if the pick is top 3. They would only get one season of Beal.

Unless I'm reading wrong, the Minny pick is top 3 protected, so GS doesn't get that pick if it's the 3rd pick. Instead, they'd get Minny's 2022 unprotected FRP.

Edit - We could trade those 2 picks for the 3rd pick. I think Nate said something similar. And the Wiz pick is 2nd in the fantasy. So, we end up with the 2nd and 3rd picks, Wiseman, and Wiggins. Then we trade Wiseman, because we pick Mobley with the 2nd pick. We'll trade Wiseman for Butler and a 2023 unprotected 1st. Use the 3rd pick on Suggs or Cunningham. Done.

You’re right, I got mixed up. So basically, at best, we could get 4th overall+a mid 1st+Wiseman in exchange for one season of Beal.

I could see GS doing that on draft night.

So, if things go the way I said, our roster would be:

Guards: Cunningham, Butler, TBJ, Mathews, Westbrook
Forwards: Avdija, Rui, Wiggins, Bertans, Bonga
Bigs: Bryant, Mobley, Bell

Poor Westbrook looks out of place.

You have one of Cunningham/Mobley dropping to 4?

No, we trade the 4th pick and GS's pick for the 3rd pick (stealing nate's idea).

I disagree. I think they'd trade MPJ for Beal in a heartbeat.

I don't know why you think so -- or why they'd do it -- but it seems unlikely that we'll ever know.

The only possible ding I could put on Porter is to be concerned that he's injury-prone. Otherwise, he looks like a budding superstar.

This seems relevant to the Beal discussion:

Read on Twitter

I bet Miami is asking around to see what kind of pick they could get for Robinson so they can package it in a Beal deal. And I bet New Orleans is asking around too.

WOJ was on ESPN talking about both GS and Denver as landing spots, and specifically, GS using the Minny pick in a Beal trade.

Also... Who knows. If you think you can hit it out of the park in the draft you could take a Beal led team into the season next year with the deadline as a safety valve

Yeah basically, Woj said that Washington has not made Beal available at all, Beal has given no indication that he wants out. Denver and GS could be in the mix with MPJR&Minnesota 1st, both LA teams would like to be in the mix, and just about every team in the league has interest.

He also made it a point to say that Beal’s future in Washington is very uncertain.
