I think he is a player like Rubio that probably isn't the greatest fit but skilled enough to help you win regardless. Problem is who do you give up to get him

I felt a little guilty getting my first dose. I work in health care but on the marketing side so I'm not dealing with patients all day long and for the most part in my office or working from home now. But they want all workers to get vaccinated. It wasn't mandatory at first but they kind of put pressure on you to get it if you're an employee.

No idea. I don't think we do anything of significance before the postseason. I'm sure we'll pick up a 15th guy once enough season has elapsed that we can do it without hitting the hard cap; anything else would be a mild surprise.

You are one less spreader. Is it perfect? No, but it is probably better than the vaccine sitting in a freezer. Thanks for doing your part to stop the spread.

Lonzo would be such a fun addition assuming we don’t give up Donte or something. Think our defense would shoot back to #1 level with him replacing the DJA/Forbes minutes. All of a sudden our bench D with him and Craig would be pretty filthy.

Sorry I just don't see it at all with Ball. Without the hype would anyone want this guy who can't shoot and who's basically flopped for 4 years? Top of my head I think he's a FA too and you're not going to pay this guy so you have to start over again next offseason. I suppose if you clear the years of DJA/Pat contracts and it frees up exceptions next offseason I can get behind it though. But there has to be someone else we could get who can shoot and wouldn't put this stupid media scope on the team. And if all you care about is his D, tons of crappy players can play good D (while being a detriment on O because they can't shoot) for much cheaper.

So far this is one I can chalk up to a W for me going back to the draft.

Not a Ball fan, especially if we only want D. We can get good D for cheaper. We need some firepower in the second unit.

Defense is only one qualification. The bench moves the ball but doesn't have anybody to make the incisive pass. That's where Ball would come in. He'd really help us. Would be a good outlet for Khris traps also.

I'm out on Lonzo. For all the talk about slow bigs, guys like Lonzo are actually the kind of players you should be worried about being "unplayable" in the playoffs and in crunch time. Being a good passer and floor general isn't making up for his complete ineptitude at putting the ball through the basket. You're gonna have stretches against smart defenses where you're essentially forced to play 4 on 5 offensively.

Nah I think it's still that certain type of big.

At any rate, I don't think the Pelicans are going to give him up cheap, and cheap/free is all we can afford.

My max offer would be Pat, Wilson, and a couple second rounders.

Wait, why would they throw it away?

once the vaccine is removed from cold storage it only has a certain amount of time to be used before it expires and is no longer useful.

No one should be upset about Alex (or anyone) getting vaccinated, really. He benefitted from circumstance. They were just going to have to throw those doses away otherwise and that's not good for anyone.

this has me shaking my head now because it was so obvious.

There is also the possibility we tried to shop those 2 but there was absolutely zero interest around the league, but I doubt that.

Well I'm now officially in on Lonzo after tonight, he's clearly turned a corner.

On one hand who are our other guards in this scenario? On the other hand, if we can't win a title with Beal/Middleton/Giannis and whoever then we are never going to win anything anyway because our best players just aren't good enough.
