Just stopping by to scoop up some hot takes and hate posts and figure out what the consensus is on who we blame for the loss.

I thought this would end much worse btw, they just dominated the Lakers despite playing 5v8. With out KAT and with Embiid in MVP shape playing this is not the worst possible outcome.

Yea I never expected us to be in this game. The first half was refreshing. The second half went how I thought all game would go. We got no shot against these guys, Beasley and Dlo would have to be on absolute fire plus we would need some kind of miracle frontcourt performance to win this game IMO, just not gonna happen so I'm not crushed by this loss or anything. It just sucks to see another L but at this point, I'm just waiting for KAT to come back and am watching the season to see the young guys develop and the KAT/Dlo tandem start coming together.

Nowell is not even close with his shots. What’s everyone’s obsession with him?

Saunders: Ant has the hot hand.. let’s give it to nowell the final possessions to jack up a 3 lol.

At least the 76ers were honest about tanking.

Does anybody remember the no names they used to run?
I feel like I’m watching a bunch of no names on the wolves. the Optimist tells me someday the wolves will figure out how to be a well run organization and we’ll look back at layman and Ed Davis as the tank years.

Doesn't matter if it's a winnable or losable likely game. It's the same dual pg garbage that will lose forever anyway. There will be no enjoyment coming by way of wins around here. About the only one having fun is smiling 4th quarter rookie Edwards who is loving life as the nations most recent sports multimillionaire for nothing but playing games. I have to admit he was shooting FTs at the end when I turned the game back on and he was smiling and talking to a Philly player before his second shot, and it caused me to smile. Who gives a sht. That might be the right attitude at this point.

Jaylen Nowell jacked up a ton of shots tonight. Airballed a 3 too.

We are not good.

Jim Pete is destroying Rosas and Saunders on the post game.

A. He hasn't been playing enough to look good.

B. He's being coached by Timberwolves coaches, maybe.

I hated the last two 3pt shots he took as I turned the game back on to see it end. One was like an echo of Dlo top of shot clock in possession. The next one was a nice pass received and he both hesitated and didn't square up. Both from the same location on the court. Both shots looked identically off. He needs to play more regularly or he's going to be nothing. Also think he had a complete airball earlier from that same left side. Just hate seeing this from a kid that can, can shoot really well.

I don't think anyone is going to ever improve on this team anymore. It's like a given players slowly get worse for Wolves. Either they have to riiiiiiiiiiiiiiip every single person out of that franchise and replace to finally get rid of the smelly eggs or maybe all their practice court hoops are all bent odd and they are all learning to shoot wrong.

Jim Pete: "Size matters" Basically said we are screwd because we are small and he doesn't like small ball. Can't say I disagree.

Our smalls can't punish bigger teams with perimeter shooting so basically we get nothing in exchange for getting killed around the rim all game every game.

I'm glad that Embiid played. Figured they would sit everyone.

Rosas/Ryan played this tiny roster against a team with Embiid, Simmons, Dwight Howard. They are lucky Embiid went to sit down early even after they started the game on a picnic.

10 day contracts to bring in some size must be too much paperwork.

Was this supposed to be JP's epiphany moment or something? Has not everyone here been saying this since season start? Or did he finally just have enough of watching this and was willing to say it.

And Ant has played through some really horrible games already. Maybe they know they can't continue with everyone shooting poorly so they are giving him a shot to see if he can help. Maybe it takes a couple bad games from him to work through as well. He just had a decent one the game prior. If they want to get his help or build his trade value they need to play him and let him shoot into confidence at this level. It's not like they were winning this game of all games and all the losses already. It really shouldn't bother you so much which Wolves player is missing at the moment. Maybe, just hang with me here for a second, maybe it's good that someone didn't ask Edwards to jack up a bunch more garbage time shots at the end. Let him end an ugly team night with at least his confidence up in himself for once. If he finished the game with 3 misses it might have sent him spiraling again like last time.
