Except like Davis, he grew up playing guard, so he has much more skill with the ball in his hand than someone like Bosh. Also not comparable at all defensively to Bosh and is much more of a fluid athlete than Bosh

My only concern for Mobley is his narrow frame

Didn't know that, I knew it about Davis though.

neither did I, but I read it here
https://theundefeated.com/features/behind-evan-mobleys-rise-as-no-1-hoops-prospect-basketball-had-to-grow-on-me/

when he was a 6-foot-4-inch guard in eighth grade — there was no denying basketball would be a part of his future. As a high school freshman, his potential was evident.

“We’d have skill development drills, and I would always make a note of a player’s rate of progression and, with Evan, I had never seen a player respond so fast,” Barefield said. “He was tall and lanky, but he became a different guy — a better player — and each week for 2½ years his footwork, athleticism, jumping, ability to run the floor and defense just got better.”
Why tf was he a guard at 6'4 in 8th grade? My center was 5'10 when I played ball in 8th grade.

Once the G League gets going, we’re all going to get reminded why Jalen Green was once considered the top prospect in this class.

We might have to start looking at top 8 or 9 prospects. 3rd place in the standings now. We seem to pull off upsets on some pretty good teams.

Cade looked stellar down the stretch, he scored in a variety of ways and facilitated for others.

The thing about him is he's not explosive, he doesn't stand out as a great athlete but everything comes so easy to him and he has a great feel for the game (kind of like Doncic in a way). He almost looks bored at times at that level, he's too good for college.

Yeah he's got a lot to work on for sure compared to some others but he's like a Swiss army knife out there

It's a pretty steep drop off after 5 IMO if Green and Kuminga live up to the hype so finishing in the bottom 2 pretty much guarantees one of those guys unless Weaver likes somebody else. All 5 of those guys would have been #1 in the last draft IMO.

Outside of the top 5, Jalen Johnson is intriguing. He has great physical tools and a scoring mentality but his game is highly inconsistent. Moody is really good too.

Of course highlight videos aren't the end all be all but damn, Green's athleticism is off the charts (has that Ja Morant type of explosiveness) and the shot looks smooth too. I need to see more of him (which we will soon, thank god) but based on skillset, he's my favorite player outside of Cunningham and Suggs.
This is the strongest top 5 of a draft that I've seen in a long time, a really good tank year. Perhaps no generational talents but a lot of franchise talents at the top.

I have watched an inordinate amount of film of players for next years draft as I truly believe that the Pistons are going to get a crap pick again due to plain stupidity(coach, owner, GM, the usual suspects)so I'm watching players that could land between 1 and 14, and of all the players I've watched, Green is the one that if he develops correctly, and all his athleticism and talent comes with a killer instinct, can be a generational talent. I really believe that. Now it's not to say that the top 5 isn't great, and potential all stars abound, im just trying to identify potential generational players.

I'm not sure on the rest, nor do I feel as confident.
