The Dandy Warhols have released an updated version of a beloved old track with a much fatter bass line, and I now kind of want them to go back and do it to all their tracks.

Listened to it 3x already and it’s far superior to the original. Agree on doing it to all there tracks. Annnnd now I’m going back and listening to their old tracks.

Side question is bohemian just another way to say hipster?

I've probably seen them on half a dozen tours over the years going back to the early 2000s, they're a phenomenal live band.

And yes, that absolutely is self acceptance of being a silly hipster (possibly before it was even a term to use!). I have to admit, it perfectly (lovingly!) lampooned my life at the time (the first time I saw them was at a venue that was probably a 10 minute walk from a funky old sharehouse I was living in at the time) and was well received and beloved by people like me

I basically only listen to rap and was up on all new stuff from around 2005 - 2015 but then didn't pay a ton of attention. The last year or so been keeping tabs on all Griselda/Benny the Butcher music and I love it.

I could spend all day posting and breaking down Doom lyrics, but I was just gobsmacked just finding out the line "feel like number 26 on the roulette wheel" refers to 26 bordering 0 on the apparatus, meaning Doom feels next to nothing.

The best art requires the recipient to bring something to the table. It's not a pizza delivery.
