Any chance Dinwiddie makes it back for the post season?

If not the start of the post season, the EC Finals or NBA Finals?

I read somewhere (might have been here?) that he looks surprisingly ahead of schedule in workouts.

A few weeks ago Michael Grady went live on instagram and was answering questions and I asked him if he knew anything about Spencer returning this season. He said Spencer is like a Wolverine and a very fast healer and he would not be surprised to see him back.

I think we are months away from a decision.

I am also speculating that with the addition of Shump, Claxton is really close rejoining us.

Thanks Stone. I don't think he would be the first guy to comeback from an ACL that quickly, so there's precedent for it. Names escape me, but I know it's happened before so it's possible, but it's definitely rare. I hope Dinwiddie can be one of those rare exceptions.

Pelle is trash, hope our trio will make him look a lot better than what he is. I'm just waiting on Nic right now and getting impatient lately.

Look on the bright side, GTR, in about a month it will be like getting a quality FA Center off the bench.

In the meantime we're inches away from the #1 seed without him, and having lost Dinwiddie too.

I don't believe we will be able to add any big boy we can be happy with. McGee most likely is one we will settle for. Nothing against him joining, solid big that'll provide quality min.

Seeding is not that important right now. Top 3 is what we probably going to end up with, match ups more important to me. You won't be exited to see Miami in a first round come PO time. Also 6' s seem to be peeking right now, hard to say in what condition Biid be going into PO.

We going to be that team all of them EC teams will try to avoid. No way you want to see this monster by any means. We will smoke these teams with no sweat broken. Harden is everything we thought he is. Its just not fair for other's when KD and Kyrie getting easy buckets.

I was referring to your comment on Claxton and getting impatient for his return.

Damn I caught up in my thoughts and looking dumb now. We will find out. Nic can ball on both ends and high energy guy. I wanted him starting instead of Allen last year. Allen had horrible month and mentally wasn't there. However we will have to see Nic play first, he missed a lot of time. He ain't no KD to come back from such a huge stretch and look the same.

Not at all, man. We often talk about more than one topic or person in a post so it's an easy misunderstanding.

I don't mind the signing but the bench is really overloaded with two guards...

My guess is we will see a trade involving Shamet or another guard.

Would of much rather RHJ but I'm not mad at this signing. Shump played great here last season and left more to be desired. As long as he can play tough defense and hit a 3 or 2 he'll be fine for 10 mins or so. Him and Brown will be suffocating opposing teams, kinda like how Shump played with Nwaba last season, that was a fun duo.

We need another Jeff Green clone tho, was really hoping for RHJ like alot of guys here . Either way we're not done, we're definitely waiting for the trade deadline and buyout market as we should.

Great signing.

Shumpert is an absolute dog and competitor. Nets are a finesse team and need his toughness

a big would likely replace perry, pelle, or claxton. not added in additon to them. i think they will see how pelle works until buyouts happen

also, they are looking into trades. so we could see perry or claxton dealt with the DPE to bring in someone like mcgee. The shump move is completely independent of the center thing.

Shump is a great fit. i was asking what our chance were early but someone said he moved on to a rap career. glad he is back. thought he was the best defensive wing avaiable (better then RHJ and more durable then MKG). I thought he was great for us last year out side of some ill advised jumpers... although his role is more clear playing next to the big 3 vs next to levert and dinwiddie

LOVE this move
