Cade got covid apparently? Nice to see him bouncing back. Looking forward to G League season starting.

Below is a list of Big Men. All one and done.

11.2 PPG / 8.1 REB / 1.4 AST / 2.6 BLK / .200 3P% (0.2 3PA) / .626 FG% / PER 28.2
16.4 PPG / 8.9 REB / 2.0 AST / 2.9 BLK / .318 3P% (1.4 3PA) / .578 FG% / PER 29.2
14.2 PPG / 10.4 REB / 1.3 AST / 4.7 BLK / .150 3P% (0.5 3PA) / .623 FG% / PER 35.1
10.3 PPG / 6.7 REB / 1.1 AST / 2.3 BLK / .250 3P% (0.2 3PA) / .566 FG% / PER 31.4
13.0 PPG / 8.0 REB / 0.8 AST / 1.5 BLK / .000 3P% (0.0 3PA) / .599 FG% / PER 22.0

Who would you take? Who do you think is who?

Spoiler:
11.2 PPG / 8.1 REB / 1.4 AST / 2.6 BLK / .200 3P% (0.2 3PA) / .626 FG% / PER 28.2 - Embiid
16.4 PPG / 8.9 REB / 2.0 AST / 2.9 BLK / .318 3P% (1.4 3PA) / .578 FG% / PER 29.2 - Mobley
14.2 PPG / 10.4 REB / 1.3 AST / 4.7 BLK / .150 3P% (0.5 3PA) / .623 FG% / PER 35.1 - Davis
10.3 PPG / 6.7 REB / 1.1 AST / 2.3 BLK / .250 3P% (0.2 3PA) / .566 FG% / PER 31.4 - Towns
13.0 PPG / 8.0 REB / 0.8 AST / 1.5 BLK / .000 3P% (0.0 3PA) / .599 FG% / PER 22.0 - Adebayo

I thought this was interesting for those who think we're interested in Mobley because of 'need' rather than him being the BPA

#3 looked too good to be true with that PER!

#2 stood out to me as covered all categories and the FG% was excused because of the number of 3pt attempts.

Hornets are turning it around on the back of their high lottery pick.

The lottery produces talent, end of story.

Would have been awesome if the Bulls pulled that out. Need some cushion between us and all these other trash teams. Miami winning is huge. Need them to get it going now that Butler is back.

Oh and Charlotte win against the Bucks came in clutch.

Memphis building up some momentum before they face us. Good stuff.

It was nearly the perfect night for the tank. Can’t win em all tho. Dame snatched that outta nowhere.

Mavs currently winning as well.

i think some of these teams like Charlotte, Chicago, New York, and Orlando can continue to hover near .500 for a couple more weeks considering how the East’s ‘elite’ is incredibly weak this year. It can buy Masai more time to evaluate before the trade deadline.

The bottom 3 teams are locked imo
Wizards are broken, Detroit sucks and Wolves will tank when they realize it's not worth losing their pick

I'd say Orlando will probably be next then after that is the 5-7 range for us potentially

I largely agree, but I'd probably switch the Magic and Twolves. Twolves pick is top 3 protected so I dont think its worth it at all to tank, but they are bad as is so probably end up in the bottom 5 anyways. Magic have been trending downwards and I imagine they trade Gordon or someone and just regroup when Isaac is healthy. Even the Wizards are interesting because unless they trade Beal I dont see them tanking. I think Thunder do eventually end up near the bottom too.

I don't expect the wizards to tank at all but like I said they are Broken lol I don't see them turning it around at all. Magic suffered so many injuries tanking for them could really turn into a huge positive for next year. Either way those 4 I'd be surprised if they switch from the bottom.

Okc is playing pretty good and maybe them having 2 picks stops them from full on tanking but they could eventually. I think it's still possible for us to get that 5-7 range like I said though if masai accepts the tanks soon

I'm guessing the hornets made one last attempt at trading up to #1 to take Wiseman then when that didn't work MJ and crew talked themselves into him

Nonetheless those 2 and Haliburton look to be the best prospects in the draft so far sooooo.....

Also, the Heat didn't tank for Herro. They middled and missed the playoffs. These teams have largely said what some of us have argued, that the time to tank is when it's obviously not working out that year.

Spurs need a pretty large influx of talent and until they tank they won’t get it.

They have some solid young guys but not true star level player.

The Heat if Jimmy doesn’t go and Bam and Herro are just a nice story of a good rookie and an all star jump that miss the playoffs or borderline make it.

Butler out most of the year and they are 6-12.

Sure, I mean the Spurs drafted 3 HOFers outside the lottery, but what do they know, right? But, still I'm not sure what your opinion has to do with timelines.

The Heat could suck. They didn't get Herro through tanking, though, so that's all that matters with my comment. It's totally fine if you want to dismiss their Finals appearance. Oklahoma City couldn't replicate their lone Finals appearance, either. It's hard to build a contender, even when you suck and strike gold on a bunch of picks.

Jimmy was also traded for Lavine and Markanen.

To get a player like Jimmy right now would cost OG, Fred and a bunch of picks+swaps.

So OG and Fred and picks? Where are the Raptors going to get OG, Fred and the option to swap picks? I'm glad you've shown that 1) star players have fluctuating value and 2) that they move often and their trade value can fluctuate quickly and 3) that the Raptors currently have the pieces to make a move like.

I'm not sure why the Raptors would get a player like Jimmy right now, but we know that in your opinion it's conceivable they could.

Sacramento Kings have been in the tank since 2009

2009 #4 Tyreke Evans
2010 #5 DeMarcus Cousins
2011 #7 Bismack Biyombo (traded)
2012 #5 Thomas Robinson
2013 #7 Ben McLemore
2014 #8 Nik Stauskas
2015 #6 Willie Caulie Stein
2016 #8 Marquis Chriss
2017 #5 DeAronn Fox
2018 #2 Marvin Bagley
2020 #12 Tyrese Haliburton

They made some good picks (some very good), some ok picks and some bad picks.
Today they are still a team with some good prospects and a lot of promise and heading back to the lottery for more.

^ The Kings are a **** show and one of the worst managed NBA teams of the last decade.

Return to Toronto Raptors
