Just the 23

21 is completely unprotected

But 23 is top 10 protected in 24 and 25, then becomes a 2nd in 26 I believe.

wait how many picks did they get from the trade?

Knox was the odd man out. But if we are just playing Obi as a stretch 4, then you might as well play Knox in that role. Obi is lost in that role

That’s not an excuse to play that fossil who does nothing and can do nothing

Play Randle at C some and / or go small with Obi as the PnR finally

Common sense decision instead of putting a dude out there who needlessly clogs the paint and brings nothing to the table

Bring on the losses. I want a shot at Cade.

You have a better shot with each mavs loss, Knicks are going to win too many games..sorry

Ah, great to hear the Knicks will be picking 12th and 15th. I'm sure they'll land a franchise player there....

And we might have drafted the best player in this draft at 25, what’s your point

I'm going to enjoy picking in that 7-9 range more than I ever have this season. Crazy what having a structured team that guys can develop on, does to change things.

Randle has ZBo'd before we've traded him away for scraps, and become an Allstar point-forward in front of our eyes. Float-master Quickley has been a revelation; whether he fits in as a PG, SG, or 6th man, in the long run. Robinson has learned to stay on the court so he can anchor a high-end defense. Knox is still far from a good NBA player, but his progress makes me hope he can turn into a useful rotation guy in the Bertans mold.

Obi hasn't played enough to get a grade yet, but despite the things that clearly need work (lower-body strength, handle & shot), the flashes of what he could become are really interesting. As he's a really good passer & smart kid, to go with the length & verticality...hopefully Taj is spending as much time teaching Obi as he is preparing himself to play.

And then there's RJ, whose 3ball is still not there, but if it arrives next season, will be an Allstar too. Very good around the rim as well as from the midrange, plus he's well on his way to becoming an excellent defender and a smart playmaker...whom we are running more & more PnRs through. With his drive & intelligence, he's so easy to bet on continuing to improve and should make him a great leader for our locker-room; whether we end up bringing someone better than him in or not.

The kid can pop and the kid can roll

Yet we don’t use him as the pick guy most of the time and instead make him play way different than his strengths

Just the 2

If the pick in 23 lands top 10, Mavs get it back and we get their 24 which is top 10 protected. If that lands top 10 we get their 25 top 10 protected, and if that lands top 10 we get a 2nd in 26.

Thibs has this team playing hard. Certainly in the right direction. Young guns, especially Quickley, are impressive.

Good fight today.

Thibs rotations are still a bit off.

• Sat RJ for too long in favor of Rivers who killed us in the 4th once we cut it down to 2 and he started over dribbling and committed a costly turnover

• Sat Mitch for far too long in the 4th too in favor of Taj and then our rim protection suffered for it

• Randle reverted again in the 4th. He has to stop going back to bad habits

• Game was clearly lost at the 2 min mark yet Thibs refuses to concede and empty his bench. This is just getting weird

The only thing that annoyed me more than watching Elf get torched by bumass Reggie Jackson was watching Reggie stare at his hand for 10 seconds afterwards running down the court. Like bro - you trash stop embarrassing yourself

Burks and Rivers were in for shooting, but RJ was eating going at Leonard no doubt why not give him a chance to rise to the occasion.. he and Randle were on the bench way too long in the 4th

But I'm sure splitting them up is actually better for us.

Seeing what has happened with RJ, Randle, IQ even Knox earlier in the season I'm going to assume the staff knows what they are doing.

Payton vs Reggie Jackson flexing and puffing their chests out on 1/369 shooting is the matchup we all came to see.

I could use the same logic against them for sticking with Payton and Bullock as the starters

Don't mind the loss other than Thibs being so stubborn and Obi looks terrible, he's shown no signs of improvement so far, and standing next to Paul George it was pretty shocking to see looks physically small next to Pandemic P of all people.

Give it up man. Not happening.
