I agree that Quickley is a score-first guy right now, but he does get his share of lobs up. I mean geez, he didn't even play PG in college, give him some time.

they have the same energy on the court, too - both are very stoic.

RJ is maybe an inch shorter and ten lbs or less lighter, so even their physical profiles sync up. When RJ's back to the basket post-up game and three point % reach Kahwi's levels I really don't see that there will be that much difference between them aside from RJ having to prove he's clutch in big games. I don't know how big RJ's hands are, but probably not as huge as Kahwi's.

what I hope he develops is Kawhi's midrange game because it is there for RJ. Like you said he is very similar in physical stature to Kawhi so just like Kawhi the midrange game is always available to RJ - he just needs the consistency. When the outside J isn't falling and the lane is clogged getting some separation for a pull up is there. I'm not savvy on new metrics so that might be considered a "bad" shot. But if it's money in the bank I don't see how it could be. I hope RJ owns that shot like kawhi cause it's his if he wants it.

I agree. Kahwi is great not because he can hit threes, but because he can create a shot for himself in the mid-range pretty much anytime for himself. That enhances his three point game.

That's why I said "back to the basket" like Kahwi for RJ, because RJ is still primarily a basket facing attacker whereas Kahwi tends to advance towards the paint then use his back to check his man before he decides if he is going to try to go around them or roll off and do his step-back jumper.

RJ is becoming very skilled at attacking the rim. Adding in the way Kahwi uses his booty would just add to his toolkit.

paste Kahwi's quote into it to hear the real Kahwi speak:

He took on the challenge and that's how you get better. Trying to guard the best players on the floor and also trying to attack them. I liked his mindset tonight. Sky's the limit depending on how hard he works and where his mental is.

Considering how deep this draft is and we have multiple picks, would y'all be opposed to trading both picks for #1 to grab Cade?

Depends where the picks fall to. I'd probably keep any top 3 picks if we get lucky

FO said they'd evaluate the roster and see if they should bust a move after 20 games.

The time has arrived and it's clear the roster has holes.

I expect to see some moves in the next couple of weeks .

If Knox or Frank were to break out this year, we’d have something special.

The Knicks were charging hard in the third when they started wasting possessions on one end and making mental mistakes on the other. Against middling to poor teams they can get away with that but against great teams they will make them pay and that's what happened.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.
