OT: I hate the Devil Rays

Not only are they such a worthless team but now they never give us any breaks. They own us but always choke to Boston. Last game they were up 9-2 and lost 13-9. They are a **** team who I feel sometimes is paid by John Henry to blow leads. In conclusion, I hate the Tampa Bay Devil Rays.

-We're 8-7 against them this season. We should be better than that, but, I wouldn't say they're owning us.
-Our all-time record against them is probably way better than that.
-The Red Sox beat on them, sure. But they should be.
-If they manage to not **** this up, they might win tonight. (Up 4-3 in the ninth).

Personally, I love having the Rays in our division. Who would you rather have? The Braves?

fat ass ortiz got lucky on that cheap ass homer, Delmon Young lost the ball and when he turned around the ball barely cleared that tiny knee wall they call a fence in outfield.. I mean if he was able to track the ball properly he can stand at that knee wall and catch the ball without jumping.. Got damn!!!

Why is it that someone "gets lucky" when they do something good on an opposing team? Stop being such a homer for anything in every sport. Rays suck and Ortiz is great. End of story.

I won't call the Sox lucky, but Young really should have had that ball. Or at least should have had a shot at it.

I'm going to get banned if I say what is truly on my mind about the Devil Rays. I'll say this, they are the most pathetic franchise in professional sports and they deserve to be contracted.

And this HR is just delaying the inviteble... when we go into Fenway and hit their overrated pitching and sweep their pathetic asses.

One last thing, **** the Devil Rays. And the Red Sox.

you are such a got damn hypocrite. You call me a homer yet you slam a low payroll last place devil rays team as being chokers? how much sense does that make? How are they chokers? I mean isn't ortiz great? aren't the sox a far superior team? Would you call the detroit lions chokers if they lose to the colts? would you call the Hawks chokers if they lose to the spurs, even being up by 20 points in the 4th quarter? NO, and that is because chokers usually come with the expectation of winning, and usually the better team, the team that is expected and has the talent to win usually wears that label if they don't get the job done. Not some last place, low payroll team, that has never had a winning season!!!!

Uh, yes. That is the concept of choking. I don't care about talent or record. There is no excuse to lose consecutive games like that. They are constantly whipped by the Sox and they play us well. Not only that, but they serve no purpose in the league. They are horribly mismanaged and have no hope of ever producing a winning season.

As for the other posts, I wont sit there and assess them.

You once called Frye the next Tim Duncan. You kill every player that does well against us by making fun of anything you can find, even his appearance. You give no credit where credit is due. You insult the other team for being better and you constantly excuse their performance as luck or just the team you root for playing poorly(which could be used, but it's usually a combination of both).

I don't have a problem with you personally but I don't appreciate you being such a (putting in simple terms here) sore loser.

Other fans see you being a moderator and a Knicks/Yankees fan and tend to generally think we all have the same opinion as you. We don't. Learn to respect the other team after a win or loss. There is no reason to become childish after a loss.

I am just frustrated that they manage to beat us badly and they lose 7-8 run leads to Boston with the snap of a finger. Notice I didn't make fun of a players appearance or call anyone a scrub or go insane and post 7,000 exclamation points while also starting a topic stating my keys to the game which is also a gigantic block of text which is unreadable to any basic human being. But I digress...

Don't try and put words into my mouth. YOU are the one that is the homer. It is well known around RealGM. I mean you can venture onto the Bobcats board or the Off Topic board and even the Hawks board and they all know of a giant homer known as TKF. Maybe to you it seems like an insult but that's what you are. You are the one that is denying it. I am just stating the facts.
