When we say we miss Dwight it's days like this when the paint is being lit up and Theis looks like an all star that we point to.

27 pts/14 rebs looks good but we need to look deeper to realize that he needed 25 attempts to get to 27 points, was a -10 when he was on the court which was the lowest for the team. Of the 14 rebs, only 8 was defensive, Tatum had more, btw 0 blocks. You are right about him settling for jumpers, anyway this is what happened with 5 mins and change left
5:35 Anthony Davis misses 19-foot pullup jump shot 85 - 85

2:05 Anthony Davis misses 16-foot two point shot 93 - 89

1:27 Anthony Davis misses 16-foot jumper 96 - 91

51.7 LeBron James misses 28-foot three point jumper 96 - 93
10.8 Kemba Walker blocks Anthony Davis 's 17-foot two point shot
0.0 End of Game

What was really annoying is that he literally tapped the ball into Kemba's hands after losing it on the way up. That led to a mini fast-break that could have ended the game if Caruso didn't hustle back.
Some games AD looks like the best in the league, and then sometimes his coordination and general feel can look so off. He's still amazing and I wouldn't trade him for anyone, but he's got room to improve in terms of his physical and mental attributes.

There are good and bad losses and the are wins that are good and wins that are bad.

This was a bad win. We deserved to lose and should take absolutely no comfort in from winning that game.

Schröder’s occasional dribble layup is negated by mental mistakes on the other end.

I love his activity but as John Wooden says, ‘don’t mistake activity for achievement’.

I hear you and agree with your first sentence.

I have to say though that I take absolute comfort and satisfaction anytime we beat the C's, no matter how "bad" or ugly the win and this goes back over 40 + years of watching the P&G.

Conversely, I get very little satisfaction if we play a magnificent game against them and lose.

Of course, it is wonderful when we play great and win against BOS.
But to say that we should take no comfort in winning if we didn't play well is a stretch, at least for me.

I hear you, and I hate the Celtics as much as you. I mostly meant comfort as in going into the next game thinking we won the last one so no need to improve. We sucked, and should treat it like a loss in the film room.

And yes, I’ll take a heartbreaker one point win over the ugly leprechauns every day of the year, no matter how ugly.
