You just have to have another ball mover on the floor with them, which is why I want to see him with Frank. I think as a whole our offense would run better with Frank rather than Burks, Rivers or Bullock because he's more unselfish in the first two and he can create better than the 3rd.
I'll shine in on the Quickley thing.
He's obviously not some incredible passer.
Like Clyde said, that's ok as long as he has court awareness. This part seems pretty good.
IF he becomes a starting PG, he would be more of a boring/scoring PG. More like Billups - who was probably a better passer too, but hopefully people get the idea.
It's not the end of the world because assuming RJ is a piece who will be here a while, he's a decent creator at 2 or 3. On a more loaded team, IQ's future may be combo guard 6th man, but it's not that difficult to see him starting depending on who the other guards and forwards are.
I mean, draft Cade? IQ could play "2" but guard "1"
FA dream of Booker? Just play Booker/IQ/RJ and let the positions be flexible. IQ guards 1, RJ the best wing, hide Booker.
Suggs? Have no specific "1" on offense
RJ gives you a guy who can play 2 or 3 with a dash of some 1 abilities. That will be useful moving forward.
IQ really should only guard 1 and his game is mostly a 2, but has 1 attributes, probably more than RJ. Not AS useful, but helps in lineup flexibility.
Getting a Cade or Kuminga or Suggs or Green in the draft? Knicks would have a LOT of lineup flexibility
