Everyone thinks we can trade DJ Wilson for anybody, so definitely DJ Wilson.

He came from the Shasta Mountain to replenish the city of Sacramento via it's sacred river. That's the pitch, stick to your guns & scant but keep yer picks.

Maybe once they give up and tank. Seems he's the only guy they have that can be successfully paired with Bagley (not that it should be a consideration but I guess they are going to ride that bust a bit longer)

Good City is giving up the upper floor of their deer district space. Obviously the pandemic didn’t help, but tenets were out ever before it started. Predictably that area will be a high rent **** show.

Not surprising a 7,000 SQ ft event space was bleeding cash for the last year. It's happening everywhere. Their first floor taproom is still open. Serb Hall is on the way out too.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Bagley is hard to watch.

Donte is a massive liability

Based on what? The numbers don't support your argument. The Bucks issues are not on the offensive end.

based on watching every minute of every game. It's plain to me Donte is just not a good nba player. He has no special talent other than hustle. He's not a great defender, has a low iq, and he can't shoot consistently, or drive. Numbers can be made to say anything, but i believe what my eyes tell me more than some numbers on a sheet.

Sounds like a biased approach. I doubt it will prove reliable.

I've been far more right, than wrong in my life trusting what I see. But I'd be glad for Donte to prove me wrong. I believe the sample size has been big enough, and he's not a good fit for this team. Although he can be good as a defender in some ways, he's not elite at it, and is too small. He also doesn't space the floor offensively, and tries to do too much because he doesn't know his weaknesses. I think the nba game is too big for him right now, as a starter on a contending team. The only hope in my eyes, is if he improves his shooting (from all ranges), but I don't think we have the luxury to wait around, and see if he can develop.

In the last 5 games, Bucks are giving up 62.5% on tightly contested 3s. The league average every season is like 29%.

That's wild. Has to be a low number, right? Is it like 10 for 16? Even so.

Being within 2-4 feet of the player when they take the shot is tightly contested. Flying at a guy from 10 feet away would be considered wide open.

Jalen Rose was talking about how a good chunk of the 3s the Bucks are giving up are actually defended well. His conclusion was a combination of opponents being confident against our 3pt defense and the lack of fans in the stands - distraction.

At this point, it's the confidence our opponents walk into the gym with more than the actual defense.

We're still clobbering people from 2. I think there is something to the idea that teams have to take and make a lot of 3s, therefore there is no hesitation in taking them. Everybody has a green light. That gives confidence. Nothing really fully explains how well teams are shooting against us, which leads me to believe that whatever else is there (definitely not saying it's nothing -- it's several things), it's also a fluke.

Not buying "Magical confidence" as a reason here. It's either schematic/personnel, luck, or both. If the chemistry improves with the sample size and they settle back into a Top-5ish unit, then it was a blip on the radar because once again, the defense has pretty much never been the problem in the postseason. If it doesn't and keeps trending downwards, then the coaching staff needs to evaluate and be held accountable.

I think a way to counter this is to over sell on the perimeter for the first few minutes of each quarter, even if that means giving up some wide open layups/dunks. An interesting note is the Bucks have allowed more wide open 3s in the 1st and 3rd quarters than the 2nd and 4th, but those quarters would still be pretty high compared to other teams.
