Declining Wagner’s option was so stupid.

Wow, this no-D-shoot-3s-era is awful... Anyway, it was very nice to see Westbrook play like this! Keep it up so he can be traded for something. :D

Wow, that was a fun game. All through it, I had a feeling that if the Wiz keep it from getting out of hand, they were going to win - I'm not a Brooklyn fan at all. They're very easy to root against.

An all-time great game from our backcourt - including Ish - who was terrific. Our forwards trio of Rui/Avdija/Bertans was horrible. Nice to see Wagner excel - at least on offense. Obviously our guards can't do that as a unit every game, and our forwards can't suck like that every game.

101 points, 19 assists and 18 rebounds for the backcourt trio of Beal, Westbrook and Ish.

That offensive rebound and kick out to Beal also. I like that he doesn’t seem afraid to take the 3 in clutch moments. Did it last year vs Milwaukee as well.

The Wizards win is the talk of the NBA, haven't read the GB, the Nets must be getting roasted

When I grow older, I wonder which memory goes first.

Ruffin Raptors or Westbeal Nets.

Not possible!

Hope Russ can keep playing better. He declined a lot but he's still way better than what he showed past weeks.

Thanks. Hope you are right about RW!!

Lol, no matter how senile we get, the Ruffin Raptors will never be forgotten. Growing old is not for wimps.

Westbrook is now over 40% shooting on the season and below 5 turnovers per game. Progress.

Also 0.1 rebounds away from averaging a triple double

This game encapsulated both sides of the saying (cliche) that you are never as good as
you look when you’re winning or as bad as you look when you’re losing.

I had become totally disillusioned with RW until the last couple games
but maybe most of his horrible play was due to injury.

Beal had become the only reason to watch this team. Speaking of
which, who would trade Beal for Harden now?

I wouldn't trade Beal for Harden. However, we may be in Wizards echo chamber. I say this cause I have been looking at all the Beal trade ideas in the "Trades and Transactions" general thread and when anyone suggests Wiz get a haul even remotely close to what Houston got for Harden, it gets smacked down quickly. There are people that wouldn't even trade Simmons for Beal.

That was the final start for a fully healthy Gilbert Arenas at the Verizon Center. The Wizard went on the road and when they played Charlotte at home, Arenas came off the bench.

I would trade Beal for Harden all day.

It’s easy to find complimentary pieces to surround Harden. He’s also impossible to stop in crunch time — hits a three, gets to the line, or dishes off for an easy assist.

And then Gerald Wallace and later Crittenton and gungate.
