About to start AC: Valhalla, are any of those gear/boat/material bundles worth buying from the start? I wouldn't mind dropping some irl cash on things that will last awhile in-game.

I really don’t think they’re worth it, unless you are in a serious hurry to upgrade your gear. If so then maybe the materials. Honestly, if you’re having trouble early you could just drop the difficulty though.

The boat stuff is cosmetic and the gear in game has been fine for me.

NCAA Football coming back for EA. Chances that, like every other EA title, it sucks?

Definitely not worth it.

High. It's not NCAA football - they have not contracted with the NCAA, and have worked with schools directly. Sounds like it isn't even with conferences. I have a feeling schools end up getting missed.

Not to mention the gameplay, lol.

Only took five years but I'm finally playing Ratchet and Clank for the first time. Noticed it in my PS+ library. I'm enjoying it. Definitely seems like one I'll be playing through to the end.

I'm glad you're finally getting to play it! I've actually thought about going back and playing it again before the next one - not for story arc or anything, just for fun - but there's so much on my list right now. Still might happen since we don't know when the next one is out yet.

It's a pretty quick burn through, but it's entertaining. In other news, Crash Bandicoot is **** hard. Christ. I have no clue how I played this in my youth without hanging myself from a jungle gym swing.

I’m surprised no one mentioned it, but Mass Effect Legendary Edition is out May 14th. Never played the third game, randomly had the itch to replay Mass Effect 2 recently. Good timing, I’ll likely be done with some other stuff by then to binge through them.

I think ME: Andromeda is the only game I've ever bought and never played. I'm not even sure it came out of its packaging.

Just saw a tweet that said it was on PS+ so I checked out some videos. Downloading it now. Was anyone else really into Twisted Metal for a time way back in the day? This reminded me a bit of that.

*15 minutes into it*

Oh. Oh yea. This game is gonna be a thing. It's like most any hero based game you've played before combined with Twisted Metal and Rocket League. One thing that's very new is how your controller feels. This the first PS5 game that seems to take full advantage of the adaptive triggers.

Obviously early on with it but this seems like a good game for a few late night sessions before bed.

Besides the stim glitch bug in Warzone, the weapons meta might be the best it has ever been right now.

It did suck that I played for ~2 hours tonight and every game was a sweaty lobby, couldn't get anything going.

Struggling a little out the gate with Apex season 8. While King’s Canyon has a “new” layout, most people know it way better than me since it’s been around the longest but was out of rotation for season 7. Nothing like getting got because you don’t have a good grip on map awareness. New character seems solid, but he’s getting picked first pretty much every game until things settle. Hopefully I fall into a pattern in the next week.

Anyone know how much Ubreakifix charges for screen repairs? I have the newest iPhone and even bought a screen protector and case and sure enough, the screen still shattered when I dropped it (second time the screen protectors have failed me). Apple charges some $300+ to fix it, but I'm fine with third party.

Been completely out of the gaming news cycle lately so this is definitely awesome news. ME Andromeda got a lot of flak but I still maintain that it was good and worthy entry in the series (albeit after it got patched into oblivion). Hoping we got some actual rumors/traction on a new original title with the next-gen systems out.

JFYI the remaster is only the original trilogy. Andromeda is not included.

I see Nioh 2 Remastered hits the PS5 tomorrow. I looked at some gameplay and as much as I love both games, I am super not into the idea of learning how to play that thing again.

;feature=emb_logo

Just watching the stupid high gameplay here made my brain bleed.

It's just funny that every meta fix includes a breaking of stuff like a previous stim glitch fix.

Can't say I have any experience with Ubreakifix but I remember about one and a half, two years ago Battery's Plus fixed the screen on my s9 for $100.
