Or that he needs to be dumped with a pick. Or that Wright, Powell, Davis, Thomas, Flynn, Yuta should all play first?

Hellova game. Record holder all time raptor points in a game. Just beautiful.

I remember people saying similar things about T-Ross's 50 point game. Eveyone was crowning him as the best Raptor of all time and the new DWade etc. One great game does not make a player great. You'd think people around here would have learned this fact by now. But i guess not after reading your post.

Well when you see me, the guy you quoted, crown him the greatest Raptor ever, or Dwade lmfao, you can do that.

Until then ... you can keep your strawman arguments to yourself. And I'll just laugh that you can still find something bitter to post about FVV after that game.

But hey... at least you came with your same convictions, right or wrong.

Yeah..come talk to me when he has another 3 for 17 game while getting stuffed at the rim 10 times. This board never changes. Just last week everyone here was crapping all over him. One good game and all is forgotten apparently.

Nope, the headline for basketball will mostly be about Clippers vs Brooklyn :noway:

They will show more Irving highlights guaranteed even though Freddy's game was more impressive.

how are you gonna compare fvv to terrence ross

Ridiculous. No one ever thought TRoss was that good. He is a super streaky shooter that would constantly score 20 than 2. FVV is called steady for a reason. He will never score 50 again but he is a great player.

Fred has been given mad respect in the NBA by legit analysts. Was in 6th man of the year race. Got an NBA finals MVP vote. Is talked about as a candidate for All-Defence and All-star.

TRoss is not in the same league as SR.

Since we are dealing in small sample sizes, FVV is shooting 79% from 3 in February.

What ever happened to the “Who Gets The Girl?” Post game threads? Some of you may not have been here long enough to remember them.

You just have to look at the numbers to see how wrong this is. Terrence's best season he averaged 15 ppg. Freddy averaged 18 last season and is looking closer to 20 this season with 6 assists and 2 steals. They are just completely different players. Terrence Ross is more of a poor man's JJ Reddick than comparable to FVV.

I didn't think he could get a 50pt game in his career. This legit raises the ceiling for me of FVV in my eyes.

Is he finishing better at the rim this year ?

One "good" game? A 54-point game on 23 shots is far more impressive than his 3/17 night against the Bucks was bad. Even as bad as he shot in that Bucks game, he was still a +1 in a 7-point loss and racked up 10 AST, 5 REB, 4 STL and 3 BLK.

I don't know that there's anything more Raptor than the single game points leader being an undrafted player.
