Feel like we always get open looks. It's about whether or not we make them. If Pascal made his 3s and if we had a decent 3pt shooter at the 5 instead of Baynes we'd be 4-5th in the east right now.

The worst part is that he looked over at Fred, hesitated, and still decided to jack up the 3 lmfao. Thank god it didn't come back to haunt us since it was still a close game at that point.

Well when you see me, the guy you quoted, crown him the greatest Raptor ever, or Dwade lmfao, you can do that.

Until then ... you can keep your strawman arguments to yourself. And I'll just laugh that you can still find something bitter to post about FVV after that game.

But hey... at least you came with your same convictions, right or wrong.

Yeah..come talk to me when he has another 3 for 17 game while getting stuffed at the rim 10 times. This board never changes. Just last week everyone here was crapping all over him. One good game and all is forgotten apparently.

FVV has been hands down our best player this year

Probably between him and OG.

I need a clip of Norm's thunderbrick. Or else it will be forever lost and forgotten.

Imagine if we lost the game by a point or two. You know I get annoyed sometimes when high flyers don't do something flashy on a breakaway like that but maybe it's for the best to just do a solid tomahawk or lay it in and guarantee the two points lol.

I always make amateur attempts to read team chemistry and such. Looks like Bembry looks confident as a member of the team, and Yuta's big grin is nice to see, happy to be there and part of it. And overall looks like a teams that gets along, likes each other.

Will is just knocking it out of the park.

This will be significant motivation for Norm.

Now if only Siakam can get into consistent form and earn his contract... then we have three pieces going forward in Fred, og, and pascal...

I feel like we aren’t talking about what a great game Fred had defensively enough.

I feel like we aren’t talking about how a 6 foot nothing with average athleticism is one of the top defenders in the league and a significant offensive threat enough.

Idk if this has been mentioned yet but Moses Malone dropped his career high of 53 (the most by an undrafted player then) on Feb 2 1982

Exactly 39 years later, Fred breaks his record with 54 on Feb 2 2021

Pulled this nugget from Eric Koreen's Athletic article: https://theathletic.com/2364939/2021/02/03/fred-vanvleet-raptors-record/

"According to pbpstats.com, VanVleet has made 14 shots from 30 feet out or further this year, the most in the league. Only Lowry, Damian Lillard and LeBron James are also in double digits."

Pretty damn cool man.

What a perfectly played game by Freddy. I've never seen a game with 100%+ TS. Orlando's worse than horrible but his D was great too. Hopefully he can keep it up going forward against elite teams.
