Who is your favorite second unit Net now?
First Unit:
PG/SG James Harden
SG/PG Kyrie Irving
SF/SG Joe Harris
PF/SF Kevin Durant
C DeAndre Jordan
Favorite Second Unit Player:
F/C Uncle Jeff Green
So much better than I thought he was. I can't imagine how weak our bench would be without him.

I'm going to say Nic Claxton. I really want to see him succeed when he gets back.

Green looks like the starter now. so my choice would be DJ or Brown

If Green is a starter then who moved to the second unit, Harris?

I dont think its that big a thing.... we dont know what nash is thinking. it could have easily been a matchup thing. given how Green has played 8 more mpg since we traded allen and started vs LA, i think its just moving towards the Nash/Dantoni 5 out philosiphy but i could also be wrong too

I think Nash prefers to play the match ups, but we'll see.
I don't think we need to go five out. This team is elite offensively just by having the Big 3 on the floor. I'd prefer to not give up the defensive glass versus Aaron Baynes tonight for the sake of 5 out. Plus, Harden and Jordan have been flat out unstoppable on those lobs.

I agree. id use 5-oout for maybe 10-20 minutes a game depending on effectiveness. I'd even lower harris minutes. i think if you put brown and DJ next to the bgi 3 we still score 110-115 ppg while being much better on D

Definitely Bruce Brown. He brings a jolt of energy, effort, defense and athleticism that the team needs. Also like his general overall attitude towards the game and his role.

I would try to stagger the mins so that Harden and Harris are leading the 2nd unit.
Start off: Kyrie, Harden, Harris, KD, Jordan. Come out with guns blazing.
1st sub unit: Kyrie, Brown, TLC, KD, Green
2nd sub unit: Harden, Brown, Harris, Green, Jordan
Keeps the rotation at 8 men. No one else really needs to play because they aren't very good.
Now, hopefully Shump can sneak his way in the line ups. I'm not sure Pelle will even see the floor.
There should be no reason why any line up on the floor doesn't have 2 members of the starting 5 on the floor at all times. Shamet and Perry should not see time unless someone is resting.
