Gotta keep White for second unit.

Sent from somewhere you've never been.

Gotta keep White because he’s a young guard capable of much more and not on the last half year of his rookie contract.

White is turning into Josh jackson. A liability this team is better off without him and use that cap space to get another impact player. Rookie contract doesnt guarantee anything. Shamet was in similar situation and despite being more accomplished and cheaper for the sixers, clippers, he was tossed around every year. Worrying about bench units is the last thing you need to as GM. This same fallacy caused to sign Felicio deals to be future backup center.

Time to trade White if he cant make a jump bc no ones giving up picks for a rookie in his last yrs and he will soon be in yr 3.

Josh Jackson? Thats a terrible comparison. Shamet as well. Coby has at least shown flashes of what kind of scorer he can be in this league. Trying to make him a true PG could be stunting his growth but he is far from where those players are when it comes to potential and value. He's young and you can see the youth when he plays. But I also see that he's dedicated and willing to put in the work. The kid needs time.

I agree with this, but meanwhile the Bulls need to slide him back to the Bench and get an actual point guard because he's in over his head. Not sure if Ball's the answer and I'm also unsure of who in the hell they can actually snag that will really be that guy. Ball seems like a perfect back up PG IMO

Even if they can’t trade for him, I’m fine going after him in free agency.

For all the negatives people bring up about Lonzo, his D and rebounding alone would do wonders for this Bulls team...that’s ignoring his willingness to pass. His size at PG would look really good next to Zach and PWill going forward and him being a guy that doesn’t need to score, or really look for his own offense would help on a team where others, like Zach, are better suited as scorers.

At this point my wish is to let White burned himself until the end of seson and show to his believers and people who came up with this stupid strategy with him as pointguard there is zero percent chance for him to became nba pointguard and whit White as our pg i really cannot se us missing best lottery odds for top three pick. We would acomplished two things end this stupid experiment before next season and draft Cade or Suggs.

It feels like people are just enjoying meme Lonzo while praising coby not even sure seeing the same game.
Just look at Lonzo's archetype half of his shots are usually 3pts which is what you want from your pg opening up space while minimizing usage so more efficient Lauri/Lavine can finish.

Man Lonzo needs to play like a bust otherwise hes going to command a first at this point. Sure he only had 3 assists but that 5 made threes and 9rebounds want me to just lust over him. His 6'6 frame too is desirable.
Doncic will be goat. Lauri will be his sidekick.

Lonzo has a better TS % and PER than Coby right now. And is obviously superior on defense and rebounding potential. There’s not much question left about the best tank commander for 2021.

Is it too soon to say that Russell Westbrook might make it a contest?

The rebounds and assists are whatever. The scoring is good. Ultimately, as with many NBA guards. he will be as good as his 3 point shooting percentage.

Jesus christ lonzo's range gets better every yr. 35% at 7.5 attempts and ft is rapidly rising closer to 70%.
Who knows he might make a J Brown leap?

So apparently if Lonzo is traded, he and his agent prefer a trade to the Bulls
