They have Simmons as a guard and Jimmy as a frontcourt player. Seems strange to me.

I'm surprised Simmons is so low. I know he's had a down year, but he's a pretty large household name.

And 100k people voted for Klay Thompson.

His name is constantly in the news with trade rumors and he has been bananas at scoring so his name is out there and people are taking note.

He's the leading scorer in the league by 4 ppg margin. That's why.

His team is 5-13. Empty stats padder. Washington should trade him. /s

He was a 30 PPG scorer last year and fans didn’t care. Team is arguably even worse too. I think him getting so many votes is a surprise. He deserves it though, that’s for sure.

Lavine might actually make it this year. Last year the East sent 5 guards, and he's 5th. The West sent 7 guards, possible to send more than 5 depending on the voting.

The West only sent 7 guards because Booker replaced Dame, 6 is the maximum. Plus fan voting doesn’t really mean as much with the reserves.

Which was #2. And it's special to average 35ppg.

So is Luka overrated or a worse player because the Mavs suck? Just checking how this rule applies again to other players.

According to Shaq, the Mavs should seriously look into acquiring a player as good as or slightly better than Luka. He mentioned Russell Westbrook as a possibility. So yeah, apparently he's terrible now :dontknow:

Seriously though, it would be cool to see some actual analysts who don't hate the modern game in TV studios. Get rid of the Shaq, Chuck, Chris Webber, Mark Jackson type of nonsense.

I like lavine this year but yet again he's the worst net rating on the team while doncic is a strong positive and near the top of his team.

Are you serious?

There are literally zero parallels you can draw from Zach LaVine to the very best players in this league. Don't even go there.

I've never been a huge fan of Luka, but not only has he shown that he can win in the NBA, he's shown that he can consistently carry a team to wins.

Both he and the Mavs are having a bad season, and of course Doncic, a superstar, has to be held accountable.

That didn’t answer the question I asked. I thought it was about wins and losses. You essentially said he is best player on a bad team. Same thing as LaVine and Beal.

I wasn’t comparing Luka and Zach as talents. I’m comparing the best player taking the heat for their team sucking. Dallas and Washington are worse than Chicago. Doesn’t seem to apply to Beal(who is nowhere near nowhere Doncic either) or Doncic right now, but the Bulls must win for Zach to make the all-star game. I don’t like double standards.

Who said it was wins and losses? It's how much you make your team better.

Standards must have changed recently. All I have seen is we need to be in the playoffs for Zach to make the all-star game.
