It all started with great defense.

LBJ was awesome.

And the play where Schroder dove on the floor to knock the ball away really energized the team and they just turned it on.

One of the best Kuzma games of the year. He's locked in, especially off-ball. We see you Kuz!
Yeah.. Kuz special game tonight. Hussle, decision making on point.

Jokic - 6/16 shooting tonight and we pasted them 4-1 with Jerami Grant last time.

Are we about done with the 'Bring Dwight back' chants? Lol.. AD took only 8 shots, but this is what he can do on defense.

Kuz, THT, Schroeder & Vogel - Great game!

Give Gasol some credit, too. He played Embiid and Jokic as well as they can be played. Stuck to Jokic today and tied him up in knots.

Great run late in the 3rd and in the 4th. Some line-ups only now are developing some chemistry and this was the case with the one which won the game last night.

Despite Denver making the conference finals, I’ll just never see them as a real threat. Lakers just need to try like they did in the second half.

The 2nd half defense was amazing. That boy THT continues to improve every day, he was unstoppable.

I thought James would dominate the ball more and get his glowing stats to show everyone he’s the clear MVp not Jokic but he played great team ball.
Dennis, Kyle, Alex worked really hard... it just doesn’t seem fair when AD is at 70% effort and focus

AD had a great game defensively yesterday, specially in the first half. There's no way to contain Jokic to 13 without him contributing.

Still looked a bit apprehensive on offense. But, unless we're putting him in P&R or other easy sets to suit him, Idk how his 16ft jumpers are any better than the all around attack.

If Gasol can take and make a few more 3s, this offense would be unstoppable.

Strong 2nd half performance. Defensively is where this team will really set itself apart. AD really has to get his head in the game because something is off and it is starting become a concern of mine. Defensively he's still a force, but offensively and energy wise he just seems to be completely out of sync and off his game. Also, why can't anyone make FTs anymore? That is also a bit concerning.

I'll stop harping on the bad because there are so many positive to take away from this game. Just thinking out loud.

AD seems hesitant. Kinda like he's worried about missing. Or maybe he's trying to get others Goin, knowing he can get his whenever. I don't know, but there's time to fix it.
My preference and I'm hoping our team as a whole clicks last 15 games heading into the playoffs. Then roll from there

Yes, AD did contribute on defense, I also saw him helped when Kuz got pinned inside but I also felt Marc was pretty good putting a body and it' not like Jokic got easy baskets against him.
Yes, it would be nice if Marc can hit more shots but like AD, I strongly believe Vogel can really maximize his and AD's worth by designing some plays. Marc can help facilitate or even provide solid picks for AD from the weak-side.
AD is so FREAKY GIFTED that I really believe he's just bored. He's trying to re-invent his game and not just go to the post and jump hook. He'll lurk in the perimeter, gets the ball, jab step, shoot a runner WITH HIS WRONG FOOT!, dribble between his legs, takes a fall away shot etc etc. He'll flip a pass to an open teammate ala Magic....

Yes he did. Nothing easy inside.

I hope Frank tells him also to shoot 4 3s a game or something. His percentages will automatically improve once he gets out of the funk.

The reason we are the number 1 defensive team in the NBA are the efforts of guys like AD, Schroeder, and Gasol. They are sacrificing on the offensive end, while putting maximum effort on D. They are buying into Vogel's game. On the flip side, the Nets are the worst defensive team in the league because nobody is sacrificing. They all gonna get theirs.
