No one saw the issues with KP then, except for Phil.
I did

He needs to realize he's still just 21 and when you get drafted high it usually means you're going to a bad team and you have to deal with it for a while. I get that he wants to win and thats good, he should want that, he just needs to be more mature in how he expresses himself.
And if Boston were to come calling offering up this years Brooklyn pick, Jaylen Brown and maybe Terry Rozier, I'd make the trade. Long term injury history with guys over 7'2 isn't good.

Greenie was another one too. Good call fam.
I wanted to trade KP for Tatum and DSJ somehow. Obviously missed on DSJ but Tatum would’ve been great. But we might be able to get a Tatum/Brown type prospect with their pick this year along with using the cap space on Randle (who I love and you hate lol) and flipping Morris into Quickley. Maybe we got best deal

I really liked Josh Jackson, Fox and Monk. to this day I still think Monk would've been turned out better had he been drafted by the Knicks. he's been playing really well lately actually too. he's the type of player I thought would light up the Garden, he was electric at Kentucky
I think Phil would've taken Jackson and probably Frank, so could've turned out for the best, but hard to say what position we'd be in now since Brown is a legitimate star
My issue is not so much w/ Randle. he's actually grown on me this year and I do think he's good now. my issue is w/ the fit and style of play w/ Randle. I think w/ players like RJ and Mitch, they're better suited to play similar to the Jazz w/ 4-out, more spacing giving RJ more driving lanes, and a clearer paint for Mitch (would help in the P&R, offensive rebounding), rather than running the offense thru a point-forward
KP deal was for the best. might've gotten a better return elsewhere, so hard to tell if the Mavs deal was truly the best, but trading him in general was needed
