Tyus with a consistent 3pt shot is a perfect fit alongside Zion/Ingram. But Tyus has yet to find a consistent jumper at the NBA level.

He's the worst possible fit for Zion.

Zion needs a PG who can pull up from 3 in the PNR to reach his absolute ceiling.

Lonzo is the complete opposite of what Zion needs.

I still can't believe David Griffin passed on the opportunity to draft Garland for Hayes and NAW. Just a terrible move.

Sure he throws some lobs and stuff but I think a player with more offensive firepower would serve Zion better. Should N.O look to move on from that pairing and what could he net in return?
New Orleans have him on the trade block so the answer is no.

The issue is I’m not sure I trust this front office on getting a better fit. Their draft picks so far have been underwhelming to put it nicely.

That's a solid contest by Ball but Turner still should finished that.

Adams and Bledsoe are much worse fits

Ironically Myles Turner who they played tonight might be the best fit next to Zion at least for a center

Good question. Thats the question they should've asked at their meetings, when they were deciding on whether to draft Zion or JA. Their guardplay would be excellent with morant

I think we’re being impatient with Lonzo, he’s an excellent 2 way player who spreads the floor well when healthy. The key is he has to remain healthy going forward. I like him with Zion. I think Bled should be packaged with a lot of draft picks for Zach Lavine if possible

Lonzo's last 8 games: 43% from 3 on just under 8 attempts per game. Lonzo prior to the bubble last year was a 38% shooter on 6 attempts per game. That with his defense and fast decision making is a damn good fit alongside Zion/Ingram. The thing with Lonzo is, if his 3pt shot isnt falling, he brings absolutely nothing to offense in the half court. So the last 8 games he has looked like a good fit, but the first 10 games of the season when he was shooting 28%, it looks like he shouldnt even be on the court. If he can get to be a far more consistent 3pt shooter, I still think hes a great fit.

I think Gary Trent would be an ideal 2 guard to plant into that lineup. Good sized 2 guard who is an elite catch and shoot guy. I also agree Myles Turner is an ideal 5 to pair alongside Zion. But say Lonzo starts hitting his 3s consistently, get a legit sharpshooter like a Trent out there, Adams screen setting and fantastic defensive positioning is a solid fit even without the ability to shoot. Hell flip Jaxson Hayes for Mo Bamba. Two top 10 pick big men that have fallen out of the rotation with their teams and really no sign of that changing. Maybe a change of scenery would be good for both of them.

Dont look now, Lonzo is up to 36.6% from 3 on over 7 attempts per game. Also shooting over 50% from inside the arc as well.

Lonzo and Zion on the court together: +3.7 Net Rating
Zion on the court without Lonzo: -8.9 Net Rating

Let Zo start at PG, have the offense flow through him via the PnR with Zion and sit back and enjoy. It likely won't happen any time soon. Poor Zo and Zion. Zo has had dreadful luck since being drafted.
