This is KD’s 2nd time. At this point, you have to wonder whether he’s making poor choices about who he spends time with. Even he’s responsible, are there people who he hangs out with who aren’t?

Let's not make assumptions that KD is being reckless. We don't know who he has been around.

The NBA is handling this insanely haphazard. They let KD back onto the court for 3 quarters before yanking him again? Makes zero sense.

There's a former NBA ref who admitted they sometimes fix games.

The way this KD situation was handled has "FIX" written all over it.

I strongly disagree.

The longer non-infected people spend time around the infected in a non- or poorly circulated area, the risk of exposure and the likelihood of infection goes up tremendously.

It doesn’t matter if the league or the team made mistakes assessing him earlier. If he needs to come out, he needs to come out. The longer he plays, the more likely he risks those who was in contact with. You don’t just let him keep playing, because he already was on the court. It’s never too late to remove an infected player from the court.

It's still inconclusive about reinfection, but from what I recall, the NBA has already found multiple cases of players who tested positive last year testing positive again before the season began.

Plus, things have calmed down a lot. IIRC, This past week there were no positive cases.

Instead of blaming the NBA, I’m wondering why KD, who already tested positive, has already been kept out of games twice this season due to the protocol.

It seems like at least someone in his circle is irresponsible.

We don't know the extent of who he was around, if KD was out partying or something yeah, but we don't know. A Nets personnel member could have gotten covid and contact tracing could lead to Durant having contact with this person. We just don't know

A Nets personnel member who only had contact with KD and no one else? Doubt it.

And yes, I don’t know for sure. But I’m more reacting to the idea that it’s somehow the league’s fault that KD keeps getting barred from playing to health and safety protocols. It’s not the league’s fault. They’re just trying to mitigate the spread of the virus in a non-bubble environment, which is extremely tough.

It could be purely coincidental, but this being his 2nd time in under 25 games is interesting to say the least.
