As much as I enjoy Timelord blocking perimeter shots, he often takes himself out of rebound position trying to get to ones he has absolutely no chance of getting.

I know we lack talent, but what I'm really frustrated with is the way we play. We have VERY LITTLE ball movement; we rely so much on Tatum and our other playmakers to dribble around and make a play, instead of moving the ball around to keep defenses honest and involve our lesser players.

Just like that last possession to end the 1st: Kemba just dribbling at the top of the key, Time Lord sets a screen, then Kemba shoots a three. That's it. Just terrible iso offense over and over again.

This one's on Brad, we need to revamp our offensive scheme. Maybe it's the lack of a training camp, but we're not gonna go far this season if we keep up with this kind of iso offense. Tatum and Brown can't carry us every single game.

1st q thoughts...

Jayson Tatum is really good.
Sucks we had to start in a double figure hole due to Brad's "Kemba and 4 PFs lineup."
I feel like Grant did a solid job on Kawhi, but it did not matter.
We miss Jaylen and Smarty.

Tatum ignored wide open Edwards twice and passed to Ojeleye instead who missed both shots. That was strange.
