Got through my second watch. It is even more infurating that Jordan didnt see the floor in the third. at first i was mostly mad because offensively we had no lob threat with our stars doubled and no shot blocker...

but then on top of that, Green provided nothing defensively on switches. going small at the 5 should help you on screens since you can switch everything. but lowry just abused green on the switches. green gave him space being scared of the drive. then lowry got hot and he played up and drive right by green.

it made no sense. we were getting stomped on D, especially inside, and our offense was getting ugly.

he didnt even TRY and make an adjustment

Jordan should have been on the floor.

I don't care what the numbers say, Jeff Green at center is a detriment to this team. We can't rebound and we have zero interior defense. I'm getting sick of it. Nash is to blame for not playing Jordan more, and Marks has drawn my ire because he traded Jarrett Allen without a back up plan in place.

I guess we will wait til March but in the mean time we will have to engage in shoot outs for the rest of the month playing the Big 3 40 mins a night.

I'm not even looking forward to our game tonight.

Also.... what is the complete nonsense about Harden "not being aggressive enough? he was double teamed at halfcourt the entire game. Same with Kyrie for the most part. Nurse was going to make everyone else beat them. and for the most part they did. tons of open threes for our role shooters. Would have been a ton of more open dunks for deandre while also providing some kind of rebounding and shot blocking but hey why would nash want those tings?

Lol. Dude, this isn’t his first time being doubled. On the Rox he was constantly being double even TRIPLE teamed because he was their ONLY player worth paying attention to. And how many times have you seen him taking less than 10 shots on the Rox?

This is just frustrating as hell. We are a much better team when we have a big man on the floor on both ends. I am losing patience and last night's foolishness from the NBA didn't help.

Game was lost on the defensive side. No paint protection, Siakem got what he wanted. We need a player like McGee sorely. You also have to treat Lowry like he is Steph Curry. Double him and trap him. Get the ball out of his hands. The guy killed us cause he couldn’t miss from 3 in the 4th. They did it to us and shut down our two best players on the floor in the end.

Kerr is talking out of his ass though, he played his Death Lineup plenty, it was his big men he barely played just to switch things up.

He was able to do that though, because Draymond Green can legit play point center and is an all time great defensive player. So Kerr was in the fortunate situation where his best offensive players were his best defensive players. He didn’t have to sacrifice anything.

Our defense was bad, yes, but we stopped keeping up with them because Kyrie and Harden couldn’t create shots for themselves. They combined for 32 points. That’s not going to cut it, especially in a game where KD was out.

That game was a mess from start to finish the KD situation was ridiculous. If there was any doubt about Covid he shouldn't have been near the players etc but to then let the game go on once their mistake had been realised was just as bad. It screams of incompetence.

I do think the KD situation effected the team but we were still architects of own doom. I agree with others about Jordan I think we play better when he is on so why not give him more minutes without KD presence we sometimes look overwhelmed at least DJ gives other teams something to think about. Nothing seemed to click last night nobody seemed to be on it. Lets hope we can correct that tonight.
