Lopez needs to be able to contest with his left hand. I think Doug McDermott has just right hand lay upped around him 5 times and he always swipes with his right across his body.

Don't do this to yourself.
Had a premonition that someone would respond exactly this way when I made this post. This should be considered good news for anybody hoping for a paint color called "sunset fart".
I googled "sunset fart" and it tried to autocomplete "sunset farthest point south" (science, who the hell cares) but I persevered and found this:

Would Sacramento consider Bjelica for Dj Wilson? Idk if that works or not but if they want to move him, he’d be a nice bench piece for the rest of the season. Throw in a 2nd maybe?

Just looking at tonight's game. Taurean Prince is a contract that would line up with Brook. Kinda fits what they need and hits 3s ok. Issue is Cle has like 7 Cs already.

Prince kinda sucks imho (idk if he’s playing tonight but I definitely just jinxed us), just hasn’t put it together and doubt he ever will. I’m low on Brook too but we could definitely do better imo. I want one Tucker/Ariza so badly.

Why not both?
MIL IN: Tucker, Ariza, 2022 1st via Rockets (original Bucks pick)
MIL OUT: Lopez, DJW, DDV
HOU IN: DJW, DDV, 2021 2nd via Bucks (original Wizards pick), 2023 2nd via Bucks
HOU OUT: Tucker, 2022 1st (original Bucks pick)
OKC IN: Lopez, 2021 1st via Bucks
OKC OUT: Ariza
Houston gets DDV and two seconds in exchange for Tucker and returning the Bucks first.
OKC get a first for taking on the extra years on Lopez contract.
Jrue/DJA
Forbes/Pat
Midds/Ariza
Tucker/Portis
Giannis/Portis (Portis should really be getting 30 MPG)
Bucks do take on an extra ~500k in salary which is then pro-rated but probably put them too close to the hard capped threshold to sign any buyouts or Ersans. Bucks would have access to trading their 2022 or 2023 firsts after the 2021 draft.

Your starting 5 and your starting 2 for a guy who's 35 and hasn't played a minute this season and PJ Tucker who's looked all sorts of awful? While also leaving Bobby Portis as the only big on the roster? I'm not sure what this accomplishes.

Re: Bucks News, Trade Ideas, Transactions
I don't know, I liked what I saw tonight in Prince. Yea he's never gonna be a star like some might've thought was possible back in Atl. But as a depth role player piece he could probably have a role on a winning team. Like why can't he be a Crowder type guy. Not like I'm pining for him or anything but seems to kind of fit and has Bud connections to ATL. Reasonably cost controlled for next year too.
Don't really see why Cle does it though as they'd be taking on one more year of contract and don't need a big like Brook. But who knows after other buyouts/trades they do something could work. DJA + DJW probably adds up correctly too and that would cut some money for them too. But not like we're giving up a 1st for him and they probably don't care to take 2nds. Probably just let a solid mid level player like him hang around to help be competent with their young guys.

Yes this. And I'll add that your guys' dream of trading Brook isn't coming true and your probably don't want it to. Skills/size wise he's the best center we've had since Sikma - if I'm wrong then who? He also does a lot of little things we'll really notice when he's not around that don't show up on stats like vertical shot alters and boxing out.

While I don’t disagree completely (though Bogut is always a what if) is he the C we win a championship with? He’s so slow, and if he isn’t hitting threes (which is often) I’m not sure his rim protection counters that.

I tend to think people are remembering 2 years ago brook who altered literally everything, and ignoring post bubble that didn’t alter any Goran Dragic 5 foot floaters in an entire 6 game series, and Doug McDermott was licking his lips to challenge on curl layups multiple trips in a row

Rather than making 2 awful trades, let's just wait to see if Ariza gets bought out. If he doesn't take a buyout, it means he doesn't want to play.

Nah, people who consider stats can still see the huge impact Brook has on the game. He's not flawless, but he's pretty good 5th player when the first 3 include the MVP and 2 all stars.
We need another bench piece, but I'm not downgrading the starting lineup to get it.

Could we find a 3rd team to send Brook to and get Allen from Cleveland?

Rose, Ellington, Mills, Bjelica, Holmes, Ariza, Tucker, Temple, Nance Jr, Ilyasova. I'd be good with any of those guys that are rumored to be on the block/available.

I would be good with Ers. Probably wouldn't get a ton of minutes, but that's OK.

Re: Bucks News, Trade Ideas, Transactions
Have to say, as much as I want PJ Tucker, some of the numbers on him this year are concerning. Bottom 5 in the entire league in RPM, bottom 15 in RAPM, Rockets 11 points per 100 worse with him on court, 6.4 PER, -3.7 BPM..I honestly haven’t watched a ton of Rockets, is he just sorta done at 35 or is it a George Hill on the Kings type situation where he’ll be good again the moment he gets to a contender?

Re: Bucks News, Trade Ideas, Transactions
I want to clear long-term salary for anyone currently on the team not named Khris, Giannis, DDV, or Jrue. That said, I don't think I want to trade Pat until the summer because I'm bullish on his improved shooting and depth is a huge issue already, but obviously it depends on the deal.
IMO there is nobody else on the team who is worth losing the full MLE for. I also want to have the BAE in future years if possible. That means getting out of tax territory by next season. However, I don't want to significantly reduce their chances of competing for a title this year, and I'm willing to trade Nwora, Merrill, future 2nds, and/or their '21 and '23 picks (if they acquire a '22 pick to get around the Stepien Rule) because that's what it will take to get payroll relief without taking a step backwards this year.
I'm willing to trade DDV for a slam dunk deal, but I'm not sure there's one out there. I would insist on a damn good vet center or two good players for DDV + Brook, for example. DDV will get a pretty big raise in 2022 and it's worth considering if they dramatically improve their chances of winning a title this year and next.
Want to trade:
DJA ($6.67m)
Brook ($12.7m)
DJW ($4.55m)
maybe Pat ($4.94m)
Interested in these realistic targets with team-friendly deals:
Muscala ($2.28m)
Dieng ($17.29m)
A. Holiday ($2.35m)
Patty Mills ($13.29m)
Campazzo ($3.62m)
Baynes ($6.98m)
Ibaka ($9.26m)
Redick ($13.01m)
Crowder ($9.26m)
More ambitious principal targets if they trade DDV ($3.04m):
Lavine ($19.5m)
Nance + Allen ($15.62m)
Monte Morris ($1.66m, then ~$9m AAV on extension)
Ross + pick ($13.5m)
Covington + pick ($12.14m)
