Re: Fake Trade Thread #3
I highly doubt the Warriors are interested in moving Wiseman with Wiggins unless they're getting a really good player back. Adams, Reddick, Bridges, and Graham don't quite fit that billing. We'd have to send them Hayward if we want any chance of getting Wiseman from them.

Even if we added a protected pick? Like I mentioned, I know it would need some work including possible picks.
I feel this is more than a Wiggins salary dump, this is a win now move while they still have their superstar in Curry playing at a high level. You have to go for it while your window is still open.

I don't think the Warriors are interested in more draft picks unless they're packaged to another team. They want players that are upgrades over Wiggins and possibly Draymond right now, not a few years down the line.
I think they will make an all-in move, but only after they see what Klay looks like and the right player becomes available. I think they're still in evaluate and wait mode until then.

What about Rozier for Lonzo + Jaxson Hayes?

Value isn't there for Pels. We'd have to include a pick or someone like PJ. I'd be all in on getting Hayes from them somehow though.

i still get tempted by him, Clifford has told him straight out he's not playing unless there are injures or its a blow out

I haven’t seen him in ages. He’s really bulked up.

The team has looked good enough when Cody is healthy that I think you can justify trading a 2nd round pick for a backup center to soak up like 10mpg and be the starter if Cody is injured. I'd probably just try for McGee.

Re: Fake Trade Thread #3
A big question for me about this teams direction is whether or not they are going to go after Lonzo to reunite the Ball brothers. If they think they are getting Lonzo then trading Graham for a center makes a ton of sense and I definitely think they should try to. If they don't have a clear plan for a backup PG, I think there is merit to keeping Graham, but you could go either way and still justify trading him because the team has enough playmaking imo.
I'm pretty iffy about Lonzo, but bringing him in probably increases the chances of LaMelo wanting to stay here long term and he actually makes a lot of sense as a backup PG next to Monk, basically replicating the Melo/Rozier dynamic, but on the bench.
The safest play for this season if they don't want to move Graham is to just try to trade a 2nd rounder or two for JaVale McGee to soak up 10-15 mpg and be the starter when Cody gets injured. Hes still productive in his minutes and gives them team a more reliable lob threat that it desperately needs at the 5.

Re: Fake Trade Thread #3
I wonder if we hit a hot streak, if we go in on Drummond or Allen from CLE. Drummond for Tae (plus something) is an expiring-for-expiring deal of similar ages. I think Allen would cost us more, and who I would prefer. I wonder how much more Allen (who I think is an expiring too) would cost in addition to Graham/Terry.
Since we won't be picking in the top-10 this year, a player like Allen would be perfect for our young core as long as the plan included re-signing him at some point before FA.

Re: Fake Trade Thread #3
Theyd pretty much have to send out Rozier + Zeller to match salary for Drummond.
I wouldn't want Drummond at his salary over either one of them for the next couple of years. Zeller at the very least will be a good backup and should be cheap to resign (bet he signs for like 2-3 years @ 7-8 million per year). Drummond will likely cost at least twice that to resign and so far in his career has been completely unreliable and not nearly as effective as his numbers would indicate. I don't think hes a good risk to take at this stage, but his upside might still be pretty high.
Allen is nice, but I don't think Cleveland is trading him.

Man reading through the trade board I think Vucevic would be a good fit for you guys and push you into a for sure playoff team.
Forget Drummond, you'll regret that one quick.

Now Vuc I could get on board with, that is a clear Cody upgrade.

Re: Fake Trade Thread #3
Even if he is a clear upgrade (and better defensively than what he was labeled with couple years ago), he is already 30.
In a ideal world, i would try to get this team its Adebayo/Collins/B. Clarke (and maybe Okongwu). I am already pissed that Kupchak did not pick Tillman when he was available because he was probably too old (otherwise i dont see any consistent reason why he picked Carey over him). A guy like him would have been playable already and help with the transition knowing such a profile always has trade value.
Speaking of Memphis, they are basically hornets opposite. Loaded with frontcourt potential or vets but pretty thin in the backcourt. Among all the franchise and potential ideas, it's hard for me not to find them the better trade partner. Even though i woud target one of their younsgter while they would probably try to trade Valanciunas or Dieng.
Anything that would leave Hornet's 1st picks for next drafts so that they get their upgrade at the wing and their rim protector in the draft on rookie scale contracts.

Re: Fake Trade Thread #3
Since the Magic have been decimated by injuries and Clifford has Mo Bamba in the doghouse we really should look to make an aggressive trade offer for him. They can't afford to pay anyone else next season so we'd need to rope in other teams.
CHA out Graham and Biz
CHA in Mo Bamba
ORL out Bamba, Fournier, Aminu
ORL in Otto Porter, Denzel Valentine, Willy
NOP out Lonzo, Reddick, Bledsoe, Willy
NOP in Graham, Biz, Satoransky, Aminu, Fournier
CHI out Porter, Satoransky, Valentine
CHI in Lonzo, Bledsoe, Reddick
We move Graham in a gamble for our center of the future (MB×3).
The Magic shed future salary and get useful players back that fit Clifford's style of play better.
The Pelicans clear out the players they don't want and gain a lot of shooting.
The Bulls move Porter to finally play Lavine and White at their natural positions with both Lonzo and Bledsoe on the roster.

Re: Fake Trade Thread #3
That is a horrific overpay for someone who is probably going to be out of the league in 3 or 4 years. Why are some of you so excited to dump Graham, I really don't get it.
Clifford would love the Martin twins, send them and a 2nd or two for Bamba. At that price he's maybe worth it.

Bamba will flourish with his next team, Clifford is absolute trash at developing. We really could use him as a prospect.

How old is Gordo again?
Vuc has never had any athleticism anyway. He's Al Jefferson with a jump shot.
Well worth bringing in for the 2.5 years he has left on his very fair deal
