Multiple league sources told Action Network that Chicago is (currently) the most likely landing spot for Ball. That’s based on multiple factors, including the preference of both Ball and his agent, Rich Paul, Chicago’s interest in making a roster move and the Pelicans’ openness to discussions

Not sure how much of this is actually sourced, but the idea that the Pels think T. Young is not enough to acquire Ball kills any deal.

The Bulls have 5 prospects better than or equal to Thad and none of them should be on the table for a half-year of Ball

Wendell
Lauri
PW
Zach
Coby

Everyone else is worse than Thad and I can't imagine any combo of the remaining guys does anything for NO as well.

The best hope has always been that Klutch/Ball try a sympathy plea for NO to give him a chance elsewhere before his contract is up. But are the Pels up for doing any more favors for Klutch?

Porter and Valentine for Ball and Redick. Throw in second if neccessary. Redick to Nets for Dinwidde and second round pick to Nola.

If the Bulls aren’t giving up a starter or a 1st rounder, it’s a no brainer. This point guard play has been beyond pathetic.

Sato+Hutch+2nd?

Or is Lonzo's value a protected first?

I'd do it, but the Pels want wing depth from what I understand. They have enough guards and drafted Kira Lewis in the draft.

Why would you do it? He is playing worse then Coby on a team that should be easy for him to be racking up assists.

On a team with 2 All-Star players he is averaging 4.5 assists in 30 minutes and that would be a upgrade??? What am i missing here? We already have Soto if you want a tall PG who underperforms.

He’s not the primary ball handler, Bledsoe is and the pelicans have zero floor spacing. Also Lonzo basically playing a 3-D SG

Bledsoe is not the primary ball handler. He is averaging 3.7 ppg. He has been playing SG almost 60% of the time this season. Lonzo has been PG 99% of the time.

Do you watch the games? They resorted him to being a spot up shooter , their lineup placement is not how they play
