If KD is sitting out due to possible infection, why is this game even being played?
The NBA is just making **** up as they go.
We all were right.
- KD has tested negative. The entire Nets staff and other employees has tested negative. The entire Nets roster has tested negative. The Raptors have also tested negative.
- Nets employee tests positive mid-game after first test during pre-game came back inconclusive, negative in the 2nd try and finally positive during the game for the 3rd one. 1pm ride results into false positives leading into nearly 7 hours later?
This is flawed testing. The league even pushed back start times to later hours to accommodate accurate testing for every team and it’s FAILING.
- KD was riding around with this employee without a mask three times.
So, he was irresponsible. However, the entire situation still is a huge issue with the league. KD shouldn’t have played at all, the game shouldn’t have been played if they felt like it www that serious or they let him continue to play. There’s no in between.
People keep forgetting that KD was only on the bench because he almost picked up 5 fouls. So, let’s assume he didn’t pick up any fouls and he’s on the floor when the NBA tells Sean Marks he cannot play anymore. What are we supposed to do?
Imagine this was a significant game for the standings or seeding and we get to a 4th quarter situation.
KD or any other NBA player could be booted off the floor because of a late resulted test while they have already physically touched up against everybody? That’s not fair in any league.
