I think I like Resident Alien but I don't feel good about that.

Got apple+ for the first time so I could check out Ted Lasso. Excellent show. Also watched the tom hanks movie greyhound, I liked it but am a history buff so I'm bias there.

Any others on that platform I should check out?

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

I enjoyed the documentary ‘Boys State’. Give that whirl.

Beastie Boys doc was interesting if you’re a fan.

I liked The Morning Show, if for no other reason seeing Steve Carroll, Reese Witherspoon, and Jennifer Anniston playing against typecast. Critics seemed to be mixed, but I hope it gets another season. I thought Reese had the best TV performance of the last calendar-plus. She killed it.

One of my top ten shows. Stays hyper gritty and realistic.

Watched the first 6, really enjoying it so far.

I really enjoyed season 1. I'm 4 episodes into season 2 and it's definitely got weird.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

As others have mentioned this is the power through portion of the series. It gets a lot more coherent and starts making sense again soon. It's worth it because they do a good job of closing out the series.

Yea, stick with it. I just rewatched S2 and liked it more this time around, but the main plot does stagnate. However, I don't think I've ever heard anyone be upset that they saw it through. S3 & 4 have some of my favorite tv.

I guess it is pretty old, but we started watching Patriot on Amazon Prime. 1st season was pretty hilarious if you like dark, quirky humor. Season 2 so far seems to be a bit overproduced and they kind of killed the simplicity of what made season 1 so good.

I loved everything about that show. Characters. Story. Arc. It was satisfying and original. Please, everyone watch it.

With Prime getting the rights I have hoped this would be the case.

I give it extra credit because I don't think the concept was easy to pull off. Without good writing and acting that could have been a cheesey awful show.

Thanks to those who threw out some suggestions. Going to watch morning show at some point. Watching Mistic Quest right now, about half way through the season and it's alright and seems to be finding it's footing and getting better as it goes.

Watched In and of Itself last night on Hulu. I rarely cry period much less at movies but this had me in tears.

I've seen it described as a lyrical poem...which is fine as I don't know how to describe it other than performance art with slight of hand and magic mixed in. Don't read about it before you watch. Just go in blind.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

That episode was insane. It’s the first merger of the MCU with the Fox universe and it was handled so **** smoothly. Looking forward to what they have in store going forward.

Six episodes into HBO's Girls and it is fantastic.

Patriot is one of my favorite TV shows ever. So **** great. So funny and has beauty too. I watched it for second time last year early in pandemic and season two was better the second time. But yeah, season one is perfect. **** Stephen.
