Mavs got the Wolves next, that'll be an easy W for them unless KAT is back....really hope this wasn't the start of a run for them

I mean Dallas is certainly better than their record. They have arguably the best player in the game. Well he’s top 5 as an offensive build around. He’s a whole show on O. For Dallas to really fall out of the race he’d have to get hurt.

I am sort of happy for Tommy. Conducted himself well after the trade and seems like their second best cog.

they had plenty of time to foul him. he was the one who brought the ball up the court

They were trying to strip him before. When he made a move Baze? took a swipe at him but missed before he could get it to Doncic.

still 14th of 15 in the West. it's not a given that they make the playoffs

I'd put the odds at 50/50, which is about the same as what 538 projects: 52%

even if they do make the playoffs, every loss counts and that pick is looking like it'll at least be top 20

It’s not low key. Some DAL fans / media went into this season legit thinking he’s a solid #3 after a huge turnaround season last year. This was expected.

I still can’t stand his game when the leash is off. Him and Powell are on my top 10 guys I wouldn’t want for that position

I'm sure you and people who follow Dallas more closely knew that. I was moreso referring to the casual Luka fans who believe he is only surrounded by trash and use that narrative to absolve him of any responsibility. There's a few. But great game by him tonight.

The west is nuts. 3.5 games b/w PHX (4) & DAL (14). The top 3 is what he consensus expected but after that it’s a blender.

Might be a good time to be selling off “useful” vets as the arms race heats up over the next month.

I dont know...seems like they have to play in near desperation mode just to eak out a win versus a solid but hardly dominant GS team. Between KP's post injury shortcomings and losing Barea and Seth Curry they arent as good as last year. And the west has some hungry ass teams like the Kings, Rockets, and Spurs that aren't going to keel over for Luka and the pips.

Curry is probably the most frustrating player to play against.

He’s good. Kinda reminds me of Quickley.

Mavs tank is still on schedule guys. The next 6 game is probably the easiest stretch they will have all year. They are playing

MIN, ATL, NOP, POR, DET, HOU

If they lose 3 of these games then everything will be gucci.

Suns and Jazz won too. The west is tough. The 9th, 10th and 11th seed are all .500 are better. Mavericks would have to go crazy to leapfrog all these teams.

We also had to send a hornets 2nd to make dsj into d rose so are they really justified in claiming this being a product of the kp trade

The Knicks had enough cap room to sign Randle without trading Porzingis. Since he was our first free agent signing, I don't think it's accurate to consider him part of the trade.

Quickley though, definitely is part of the return.

We were going to sign Randle to a ton of money to back up kp?
