The last possession vs the Sixers where Schroeder gave a pick to AD down low was great, but what else? Theres a few Lebron/AD screen roll at the left high post... then a ton of James isos and bully ball while AD faces up for 16 footers....

Vogel is testing this team... They've become over-confident and complacent, and hadn't really faced a solid challenge yet, so he tightened things up against the Sixers and tried to light a fire under them... It didn't work, and they lost back to back games...

This roster should have absolutely no problem scoring enough points to win if they execute correctly on both ends of the floor. And at this level, with a team as veteran as this roster, the Coaching staff isn't really going to be in a position to motivate guys to execute with words... Sometimes they just need to fall on their face a bit to get the fire back.

I'm worried about AD and Trezz... AD because he's just all blissed out and coasting... He's not fired up this season yet...
And Trezz because I'm not sure he's really bought into the vibe here... I feel like he's just waiting to get his next payday, and not really into all the teambuilding **** LeBron does... Just a gut feeling watching them.

I also think these last 2 games might be exposing something not right in the locker-room... The only person I can think might be not really into it, is Trez, or maybe Marc... But Marc seems all-in... So that leaves Trezz... Which seemed to be a problem with him last season too...

I don’t like to fire anybody but Rob might want to set up a meeting with the coaching staff and investigate what the hell is going on with their other offensive sets. I just don’t see a lot of sensible schemes from them out there. No screens, very little movement and continuity.
He was vocal with his displeasure with the lack of details of Luke’s scouting report before...

KCP still can’t find his shot .
Trez playing decent offensively has good game the other night .
Kuzma is up and down . Reminds me of young Jordan Clarkson .
Caruso is ok he’s doing his best but hasn’t made enough shots this year

Vogel need to coach this team to be more free flowing on offense instead of standing still waiting for lebron to make plays. thats why we suck when lebron sits. Defense wise we help waaaaaaaaaaaay too much leaving 3 pointers wide open. I do not like that we are not trusting our inside defense and over helping scrambling to chase after open shooters at the end. just switch everything and if they get beat on inside then u gotta live with some of it. no reason to get players on a roll by letting them get in rythem.

We have the most stacked team in the West (perhaps in nba barring brooklyn nets) and just because AD is out, we become possibly the WORST team in the NBA and cannot win ONE game??

Even last year we beat a good OKC team without Lebron and AD.

We all know LBJ doesn’t listen to nobody. He’s like Kobe loves to play the game

He wouldn’t even listen to Pop if he was his coach and told him to rest couple games

LBJ is putting himself in danger. KD just took a year off and is resting multiple months now

LBJ why are u doing this to us. Father Time always wins

I’ve been watching several games; even from last year, players need to make the shots they attempt.
If we are shooting at a higher efficiency, the offense can relax more.
I myself struggle watching us turn into a perimeter shot team.
But, if they are going to let it fly, I’d prefer they had the confidence when releasing the ball.
I just don’t see nor feel the same when I watch a high flowing clipper or net player hit their shots in stride.
We do have the players that can achieve this.

Frank really has to get these guys to practice their 3s. Most of our losses aren't due to defense or even Marc.
It is because we can't make a 3. We egregiously suck at 3s. We can't keep up w other teams' 3 attempts.
In this game today to be relevant you gotta make at least one - third of all 3 attempts.

Practice !!
And no more shots by LeBron 5 feet behind the arc.

Maybe I'm the only one in this but I feel like Vogel is sandbagging a bit... I think he did it a lot last season too... I think he's trying stuff out, but also keeping us from getting in a ridiculous battle for first in the West, so that we keep motivated to show our best ball when it actually counts. Teams like Utah that rely almost exclusively on the 3 are probably going to take a step back in the playoffs, so why get too caught up in a battle with them?
I still think the Clippers are our biggest threat in the West... So letting the Suns beat us and go battle them, while staying even with the Clips isn't the worst strategy in the world right now.

Just read Lebron's going to rest against the Kings... That fits as well... We're 3.5 games up on the next highest team after the Clips... Time to tap the breaks a bit and coast into the all star break.

I think the team doesn't care about seeding too much, since fans will not be attending. Vogel is trying to combine rest and rotations as the season goes. I understand why he's doing it, but it's just frustrating to watch when you got scrub like Dudley playing meaningful minutes.

Brett Brown is a defensive minded coach too, so was Thibs who was great in the Bulls and not good at Minnie. YES YES YES, Vogel is very good in coaching defense but this team needs to have better schemes on offense and not just rely on ISo- Lebron and AD and do so many basic screens that force mismatches for Dennis.
