Any game that RJ plays 19 minutes and his healthy..is a loss regardless of the outcome

It was a good game , Spo adjusted in the 4th with the trapping and we kinda couldn’t adjust fast enough. For all the **** folks giving Thibs this game he actually made the right adjustments all game, especially by having Burks, IQ and Bullock on the floor. Honestly a ball handler like Rose actually would have been needed this situation as the Heat wouldn’t let us get any clean looks from three but we didn’t have anyone break down the defense or get in the paint to make them shift.

I agree about building a winning culture here

but this Heat team was 8-14 entering the game and only 5-5 w/ Butler, they're clearly off rn

Herro been out for a while too. But today at least to me showed why they were in the finals. Their defense is insane. I’m pretty fine with this loss. Just happy to see the Knicks compete, in a game we should’ve gotten blown out

Yep. They actually looked for him on the cut instead of just sticking him in the corner

People who've said that also said it was only a matter of time until Quickley starts over Payton.

"Thibs sees what's going on"
"Thibs isn't blind"
"Thibs isn't stupid"

I don't think he's learning from this. He likes Payton for whatever reason, and the fact that he assuredly lobbied for Rose (a point guard with a similar profile) tells me that he actually wants more of the same.

We competed with a team that made it to the finals and people are mad

It was frustrating to see the unit that clawed its way back get pulled but they're nowhere near there without the defensive focus. The two edged sword of Thibs.

Also, Obi has to be involved, but he's got to make himself visible in the offense. He can't just run to the corner and spot up. He needs to learn how to be an off ball threat like in the fourth when he backdoored his way to a dunk. Keep getting active and open AND KNOCK DOWN YOUR SHOTS!

This is the first game I'm really upset at Thibs. The rotations were horrible today.

BugginOut wrote:I’m tired of this sh*t. F*ck the vets, f*ck these rotations and f*ck the playoffs. WE ARE A REBUILDING TEAM. We have the 4th youngest team in the league. Play our young players If we lose we lose. It’s not a bad year to be in the lottery. It’s a good draft. But what I am not trying to have us role out vet min players trying to win games when those players have no future.

The fact that RJ and Quick can’t even get 20 minutes is embarrassing. F*CK DROSE TOO. We should be keeping our assets not blowing them on one year rentals, I don’t care if it’s a 2nd round pick. This kind of dumb trade just shows that our management has no idea what they are doing.

The last couple games have shown me the direction we are going, and I am not pleased at all

What a terrible year to bring Thibs to the Knicks. He hates rookies and young players. That's a fact based on his history. Knicks need a youth movement, and should have hired a coach who believes in the same thing. Thibs was the absolute WRONG CHOICE to run this team. Thibs is best when he has great vets he can overplay minutes with.

What was the freakin point of hiring him? He is a coach that takes a team that's good, and makes them great. He's not a youth movement coach.

So f*cking pissed.
